Smallcakes: A Cupcakery - Lakeland

This place is fantastic. The ladies working tonight were friendly and went out of their way to make us 2 different cupcakes that were currently sold out on display. We will definitely be back.

This location is the best Smallcakes that I have visited. The cupcakes were the freshest yet and the service was very good. Their cupcakes are pretty pricey but the quality is exceptional. We made our selections from a pretty impressive line up and loved every one of them. The cake portion of the cupcake is my favorite part. In the last few really years since I wrote this review, this place has vastly improved. Cupcakes are perfect - moist (sorry) and delicious! There is always a good selection and I have tried several on many different occasions - their homemade hostess cupcake might be my favorite, but I also like the one with the peanut butter frosting. You can get a scoop of edible cookie dough, as well. It doesn't quite taste like the salmonella-laced version, losing something in the texture....read full review
