We’ve been here quite a few times and the food and service has always been top. Eddie greets us warmly everytime and always makes time to talk with us even when he’s busy. Raven always takes great care of us. The whole staff is incredible and when we’ve gotten to talk to Chef (The Owner) he’s engaging and enjoyable to talk to. We had my girlfriend’s birthday party here and they really showed love and special ordered her a banana foster cheesecake. Ty guys

Eddie and Raven made this experience 10/10! The food was phenomenal and the service was amazing. The taste and quality was the best I’ve had in Longwood. Every team member we interacted with was professional, genuine and kind. I will be a weekly regular here!

Great atmosphere with an old Louisiana Blues aesthetic. Friendly staff and plenty of seating. The food is also fantastic, and really budget-friendly. Gator, shrimp, crawfish, brisket; it's all here. And even their french fries are excellent. Can't wait to come back!

Unfortunately, I had to change my original 5 star review. Over the years I have been a patron at the bayou however, the last 2 times I visited, the food was a bit over seasoned and heavily garnished. I ordered the fried rice with light season because the previous time the dish was salty but I decided to give it another shot thinking it was a one off (since this is what I always order). Just as before, the dish was still a bit on the salty side. Instead of ruining the night, I decided to order the red beans and rice but they were out; no biggie. Upon receiving my receipt, I noticed that I wasn’t fully refunded for the fried rice. Ofcourse, I asked for my server and inquired about the (70% comp) which is when the server explained that “they don’t do full refunds because of taste”. I get it, people try to get over on small businesses all the time but my plate was clearly full and looked untouched. I will say the server did comp my wife’s $6 moscato so we were grateful for that but the refund policy should definitely be made visible. Not sure if I’ll give them another try. I drove all the way from the Millenia area to end up at McDonalds.

Nice music, good prices, amazing menu. If you’re a tourist and are tired of the usual generic american / Mexican food that seems to be everywhere just come here! Staff are great and the food has soul and flavour! Also the music just gives off a great vibe. Four happy tourists from the UK!

My siblings and I went in for dinner tonight , and the ambience was a vibe.. it felt so comfortable inside and our waitress Lilly is an amazing young lady her welcome vibes were very comforting .. ☺️ keep being you your light shines bright🌹..Food was amazing my hat's off to you Chef K . You are doing a wonderful job beautiful place.. I really enjoyed myself and the food and drinks I had a piece of fried Red Fish and the Bourbon Street fried rice 🙌.. so glad to hear that you all are in Sanford as well downtown 1st St.. so if you guys want to experience Authentic Cajun check them out and tell them I sent you😘 great place to unwind and enjoy your evening! I love this location. The waiter was excellent. He interacted with me and my husband the whole night it was great. The food was great. I had the shrimp and grits topped with fried catfish delicious. Delicious. I will definitely be coming back to this location in Longwood, Florida.
