LICC (Loxahatchee Ice Cream and Coffee)

I am obsessed with their coffee ! The coffee flavor itself is so rich, never watered down. they use coffee ice cubes for their iced drinks! Everything is super high quality and the staff is always lovely. My personal favorites are the brown sugar cinnamon latte and the pistachio white chocolate latte. Anytime my sisters and I go out of town or out of state we compare other coffee to LICC, and every time LICC wins. Such a gem to have in Lox, and I love supporting small businesses :)

Decided to get dessert after dinner recently. Stopped at this local Ice Cream shop. Yes, these still do exist. Wide selection of ice cream flavors and products to choose from, shakes, soda fountains, yogurts, sherbets and all the sprinkles you can think of. Was nice to sit, relax and enjoy a summer ice cream afternoon with the family.

The staff is amazing. I get greeted Everytime I come in. I have been a customer for 2 years and this shop never fails me. The atmosphere is happy and cheerful even between the employees. The ice cream is beyond amazing and it's always a hard time to choose what I want because of all the choices. They have everything from ice cream, coffee, acai bowls, boba and so much more. If you're local and haven't been to the shop you have to try it out.

Be warned you’ll have to explicitly tell the staff here about any allergies because they apparently do not wash their blenders between making milkshakes!!! Almost like this is common food safety guidelines. I got ice cream there and a white chocolate milkshake. When I got home my nephew wanted some so i phoned the shop to see if there was any potential for cross contamination. I was told “ There could be because you didn’t say anything.” When I pressed my concern more I was told there was a peanut butter and bananas smoothie mixed in there before my order. While I understand the importance of communicating one’s allergies 1. Blenders should be washed between EVERY order (i’ve worked in food service this is basic knowledge) 2. my nephew was not with us or ofc i would have verbalized his allergy 3. imo this is about of carelessness that needs to be improved upon. if parents are grocery shopping and send their kids to get ice cream… blenders aren’t washed… a child has an allergic reaction… is it then the child’s fault they didn’t say anything or the workers who are trained to be mindful of allergies and clarify?

Disappointing the way employees are treated. Haven’t returned in 2 years because of it but I always remember what I saw.

Clean atmosphere, kind girls working the line, delicious options. Artistic inside! Lovely little ice cream spot in Loxahatchee. Thanks for a lovely sweet end to our night.

Was greeted the second I walked in, I had to take a peek ended up getting something.They have fridges in the front with sodas & waters also in the back they have premade sweets you can take home. They have a wide variety of things to get, I saw coffee too.The vibe in here I really liked, had a good small conversation with the bar attendant.She served & delivered exactly what I asked for with a smile. Happy, Will definitely be back.

I visit Loxahatchee Ice cream when in town. They always have really big scoops. My favorite ice cream place ever. Last week I got my usual 2 scoops of coconut. It was the size of 2 small golf balls. I couldn’t believe it. There was a line behind me so I didn’t say anything. For the price it was definitely not worth it. Not sure what happened. The owner needs to train their employees better. So I’m looking for another ice place. What a shame! Their ice cream is delicious though.Update: Owner Shannon reached out. She explained they had new employees. They will weigh the ice cream going forward. She is giving me 2 gift cards for a future visit. I am very satisfied and will definitely go back. They have amazing ice cream there.
