Wow what a cool resteraunt with a 1950s dinner themed with baby blue and white tables and chairs. The bun was amazing, it was grilled and fluffy with a yummy butter taste. The meat they used was ok. Kinda looked like a pre made burger patty. Veggies are fresh and the burger is large and filled me up.

Imagine, if you will, a 1950s-style diner, in the heart of downtown Melbourne, with indoor and covered outdoor seating, unlimited fountain drink refills, a variety of beer options, a kids menu that is served in cardboard boxes shaped like classic 50s cars, deliciously salty potato fries, and burgers with slabs of beef in quarter-, half-, and whole-pound varieties.I had the Bronson Burger, and between the perfectly cooked beef patty, mushrooms, BBQ sauce, and provolone cheese, it felt like a southern cookout in my mouth. To top it all off, your order is handled cradle to grave (taken, cooked, and served) by pretty girls in tank tops and shorts. This place feels like a fever dream. Only a fool would pass up the opportunity to eat here.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with chicken nuggets and mini cheeseburgers

The food is very good, probably the best burger in Melbourne. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive for burgers. My daughter had a kids burger, I had a regular burger, small fries, and 2 milkshakes and it was almost $40. Overall very good, but because of the price we don't visit very often.

I was walking in downtown Melbourne after having some Cuban food. I wasn't hungry because of the Cuban food. I did have to take a dump really bad. I went in here and the bathroom was really nice and clean. It was busy and nobody looked at me funny. I went about my business and left and it was great overall.

I roam the nation, searching for the best burgers. I consider myself a burger connoisseur, and I am here to say this place gets everything right. The fluffy artisan bun is lightly toasted and squishes delightfully when the devouring begins. The tomatoes are thinly sliced and perfectly ripe. The lettuce is crisp and fresh, but not crunchy. Your choice of cheese comes melty, the way it oughta be. Oh, and the beef! The BEEF! Half of pound of juicey, nicely seasoned beef, cooked mid-well (They didn't ask - they ALREADY KNOW what temperature to grill a burger here). They offer all the toppings a man could desire... except for one. The ONLY thing missing is a house-made secret sauce. The fries are hand-cut, real fried potato, which I am a fan of. The milkshakes are thick... actual ice cream blended up by hand and served with a real maraschino cherry, like the old days. The a la carte prices mean you'll be paying $15-20 per person, but it is well worth it to experience what this place has to offer!

The Burger Place stands up to all the other reviews. First it’s in a great location downtown with easy parking/easy access on a weekday afternoon. The service is great and so is the food! The fresh cut fries are awesome! And the burgers really are “that” good. Had a vanilla malt that was as old-skool as you can get! Pricey for burger and fries but worth it. Don’t hesitate; go check it out when you’re in downtown MLB.

Before I rate them, I have to ding myself for not taking pictures to post. Blame it the fact I dug right in to my meal The burger place is cute and we were lucky enough to go on a day cool enough to sit outside on their patio. I ordered a hamburger with mushrooms and a tomato and, of course, fries on the side. My dining companion had a burger with everything on it and a large side of fries. The burger was very good and the fries thin and crispy but the bun .. the bun was the star because oh my it was stellar. I am going back - soon. By the way - I finished everything which I don't often do, and helped finish my partner's large fries.

I have lived here for almost 3 years and have been missing out on this place....the entire time. Nestled in historic Downtown Melbourne, this old school based diner designed spot will hit you right where it counts, in your hunger button . I got the Bronson Burger, and it hit "different" folks. Let me tell you. Don't sleep on this bad boy, it has mushrooms, BBQ sauce, A1, Bacon and Provolone, and it is . The wife had the mini (4oz) combo meal and it hit the spot. No complaints people, if you haven't been here, it's worth the visit. I think you will be back. The staff was great, the location unique and the food was TASTY!

A 50’s diner vibe meets burgers taken to perfection . This has become a go to place each time we visit Melbourne . Tasty beef patties and toppings paired with toasted buns that are like little pillows from heaven. Side of perfect fries and you have a simply great burger experience . Don’t miss the signature Bronson burger and enjoy historic downtown Melbourne!
