I came here daily while at a festival. The banana bread was amazing it had a hint of chocolate with subtle sweetness. However, it was the home like ambiance and the amazing hospitality from Charlotte that made me a returning guest Wednesday through Saturday.

There was only one customer in front of us but some how it took a long time till my Husband and I got our simple orders of 12 oz coffees because the barista said she had to make more. The Barista seemed bored and annoyed we were there. Even though there weren't any other customers. Beautiful decor and convenient with bathrooms, WiFi, and quiet atmosphere. Paid almost $10 just for two simple coffees.

A small cafe inside The Betsey hotel. Plenty of food and drink options. Barely a wait time and the server was fast. The coffee is delicious and strong and the matcha isn't overly sweet. Very clean and a great place to wonder around while waiting. Plenty of art to observe.

Was yelled at by the black lady at the coffee shop. Was looking down at our computer and she said we were going to sleep on the couch when we were doing work there. Very very rude to us and we won't be back. Learn some hospitality.

Overpriced. And, the barista is very rude. The lobby (and attached conservatory/courtyard) makes for a wonderful work space. Beautiful ambiance. The food options are lack luster and again the service is none existent. Oh and there's a beeping in the lobby that can't be fixed but is being looked into.......glad I asked the barista to get yet one last taste of her terrible attitude. Hire better talent and bring in fresher pastries.

The cashier was rude and making loud noise doing dishes. customer service was horrible. She started talking loud and telling people that they can't take a nap. Is a relax environment. Won't come here again ! I just got here for vacation from California. So rude! I'm going back to Starbucks

TLDR: really nice Art Deco style coffee shop in a hotel lobby. ___ Searching for some morning fuel near my hotel I came across this shop on Yelp, just two blocks away. They are Serving panther coffee, which is a popular local toaster. I got an Iced latte. It was excellent. It's the same amount of coffee regardless of size so go for a small to save on the milk if you just need a morning pick me up. In the lobby of the Betsy hotel, anyone can come in and grab a coffee. It's decorated Very nice and has that famous south beach, Art Deco style decor. Various baked goods available. I got a little croissant for the walk. It was good! I really enjoyed the coffee, especially after having a meh coffee somewhere else the morning before.
