It was a slow night and she was on a barstool between myself and one of my closest friends who would had no need, interest or means of something like that.On our cab ride home, my wife starting seeing flashes and bright lights, telling me it was snowing in the cab. It was bizarre. She had never taken drugs, and looking back, we both agreed it had to be the bartender who was a female, seemed very interested in her, and was pouring her free drinks.In any case, this was many years ago at this point. It's a dive bar, what do you expect?

Let's preface this with how this was the first bar of the night. I absolutely love dive bars. I was hyped when we saw this place. Cheerfully walk in with my Dominican wife's family (I'm white) and the bartender sternly asks for everyone's IDs. Give him the IDs everything's still cheerful. Her cousin doesn't speak any English and almost started walking to the bathroom instead of giving his ID and the bartender aggressively asked for the ID. We say "haha sorry he doesn't speak English" then he goes "WELL I DONT SPEAK SPANISH" with the d*ckest attitude you've ever seen and it caught me so off guard. I have a huge feeling if I came in with other white people this dude wouldn't have been so unnecessarily rude. 6 of us just excited to have a beer in a divey spot. I love rough around the edges spots no doubt, but this dude was totally just pissed because we interrupted his conversation with the 4 locals on the other side of the counter. Take this from someone who gets the wrong order at restaurants all the time but won't confront the server cuz everything is everything and life is good. Nah vibes were wayy off here. Thank you

A fav spot to hit in Miami. Cool and unpretentious dive bar. No frills. Great prices. Bartenders are super chill. Crowd is not too rowdy.

My girlfriend and I were just there on March 7th. Hadn't been there in quite a few years but it's still the same dope dive bar. They still pour heavy drinks. The bartender I can't remember her name will so funny and quirky. And people from all over immediately become friends in that place for some reason. It seems that several people were buying rounds of drinks for several groups of people they had just met. If I'm not mistaken I believe in my head was turned the bartender taught me off once lol. You got to go If for no reason other than getting a change of pace from all the flash and dash of South Beach. No pretentiousness in there. Just cool people swapping stories and having drinks.

This was the perfect place! Needed a good pick me up?... the local moral there was spot on! Everyone (staff and patrons) were all super friendly! Our bartender Tara (our bartender) was definitely one of the most bad@$$ ladies ever!
