Great place for a Miami experience!Located in the heart con Calle Ocho, one of the most emblematic streets of Miami. I have been hearing about this place from friends for a long time but never had the chance to go. Last night my friend and I went for what it was supposed to be a pre gaming/dinner hang before our destination for the night and we ended up staying and scratching our plans. The food was really good, but the drinks really made the night. Delicious! The bar tender suggested a drink and it was exactly what I was expecting. Delicious! Definetley will be back soon!!!!

I was expecting more of a cocktail bar given that it made the World's top 50 list. However, this is definitely more of a restaurant, so be prepared! The food menu is unfortunately not very gluten friendly, but there are a couple of items.The drinks were incredibly good. I had 4 in total, and they were probably the best collection of 4 drinks I've ever had. Would recommend, but the atmosphere was definitely not what I expected.

It is all those things combined.Atmosphere 10/10Amazing authentic old cuban atmosphere with thoughtful deco elements. A huge seating area and a long bar. Beautiful back bar. The live music (after 7:30pm on weekdays) is on point. After certain time, the whole bar and staff starts vibing, creating a unique and unmatched atmosphere. I have never seen anything like that before - you have to experience it yourself.Drinks 9.5/10Super creative menu, indicating the art of preparation and glass shape for each cocktail. Creative presentation - especially the La Chancleta, which is served on a slipper. The award winning “Buenavista” truly deserves the award - one of the best cucumber cocktails I had. But the presentation was very simple. Coasters are top!Service 10/10There is nothing to improve. Very friendly and attentive team, NOT short staffed (like many bars). After getting seated, water served immediately. Drinks being refilled in no time. Warning! The happy mood of the staff is extremely contagious!Prices are very moderate for Miami level. Automatic 20% tip is included - normally I don’t like this rule, but in case of La Trova it is more than deserved for every check!

Live music was fantastic! Everyone was dancing, the whole place was lively. Bartenders take their time in making sure every drink is made to perfection ? Be patient, it's worth it!!! Added bonus is the staff putting on a show behind the bar. Would definitely frequent this spot if I lived in the area.
Awesome, authentic Cuban restaurant in Little Havana, right on Calle Ocho. This came recommended to us by a bartender because of the top notch food and the live music each night. We went and enjoyed some drinks and appetizers for happy hour before settling in for the main show with dinner. They have live bands that play music for a couple of hours during dinner each night, and they specialize in the "Trova" genre which is vary unique to Cuban culture. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The restaurant fills up quickly around dinner time (unsurprisingly), so be sure to make a reservation in advance and go see Little Havana before or after!

This was one of my favorite places in Miami! The drinks were delicious and creative and the food was outstanding. My only regret is that we weren't hungrier so we could have tried more of the food! The live music was also fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Ok, this is not the 24th bar in the top 50 in the world, this is the "no.1". The Hospitality of this place is indescribable, as a good Cuban and bartender I could not have had the best experience anywhere else in the world, the food and cocktails were spectacular. I came from Texas with my wife just to celebrate my birthday here, I reserved a table a month before to make sure everything was going to go as planned, it turns out that looking for copper I found gold because Julio Cabrera himself "Master of Bartenders", He came to my table and even called me by name, gave me a hug, a handshake and congratulated me on my birthday, we even had a brief chat. I tell you, the hospitality is on another level that even July invited me the first two drinks and my celebration dessert. Prosperity and health for Julio, the establishment and all employees.
