This is Not a Fast Food Restaurant, So of course there will be Times where you have to Wait and they may also Run out of Menu items. You Ever Sit Down in your House and Say you Finish Cook a Pot of Oxtail in 5 Mins?!? Hence the Name of the Restaurant, Oxtail alone does take 1 Hour to Cook in a Pressure Pot and is Only So Much You can Load in the Pot (Same Goes for there other Food Items) It Takes Time to Refresh the Items so Bare with the Employees. So I Wouldn't Get Surprised or Be Mad if I go there one Day and they Tell Me they've ran out of a Certain Item. The Place always Slam at Lunch and Dinner time so yes you going have to Wait for a Few Mins (10-15 Max) because this is when their at their Busiest Time. Like I Said this Isn't a Fast Food Restaurant where its Grab and Go, is Real Pot Bubbling in the Back making Food for Service. (They Have Grub Hub now, so you can Order from that to Get your Food to Avoid a Wait. They Did this to Cut Down on the Amount of Walk in Customers but Not Much People use and Would Rather Squeeze in the Restaurant and Demand Service when the Place Pack and Say they Waiting to Long. If You do Use Grub Hub Use your Brain as Well, If you place a Order at a Heavy Traffic Time its goin to Reach Late Same Way and Might not be as Hot Either because is only so Much the Heating Bag for Grub Hub could Do.) Anyways, I've been here 3 Times at Different Times throughout those Days (3pm 12am 1am) People are Always there and For Good Reason, The Price is Good, The Food is Great & the Portions are Heavy. You can Easily Feed 2 People off of One Order. Most I've ever waited was about 7 mins with 3 People in front of Me and the Staff wasn't Problematic at All. I've Had the Curry Goat, Stew Pork and Oxtail, they all Hit the Spot and Tasted Delicious. Will be Back Soon to Try another Item off the Menu. These People Cooking for Real!

I will never go buy at this location š 3 consecutive Fridays I bought the goat head soup and it was left over soup because the next day they were slimy. 3 times 2 soups, 6 soups in total, something was not right.

Poor experience tonight with (3) orders for my family. Spoke with guy who bagged the food and work in back and was given nasty attitude and would not fix my orders. Unfortunately, I requested a refund and left because I never had an issue till tonight and if you canāt make it right or treat customer with respect then Iāll keep my money. Do better by the customer and donāt cheat people out of their hard earned money. Iāll see owner next time.

So i decided to go to Jamaica house last night and it was the biggest mistake shouldāve just ate dang McDonaldās the rice was hard like who gives someone undone rice. The experience literally piss me off i threw the food out my car window down the street from the restaurant didnāt even care about loitering.. Not only was the food nasty the cashier was on her phone the whole time checking me out didnāt even look up to give me my receipt. Waste of my 14.97 i really wanted my money back couldāve got curry chicken and white rice from Dutch pot.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. There were about 4 people waiting for their food ahead of me and 1 person placing an order before me. It took nearly an hour for me to retrieve my food. My number was 313 and I received my food after number 323. Everyone that entered after me were provided their food before me. I asked the employee if they called for my number (assuming they over looked it) and she said no. I'm not sure if this is how their service usually be but it was ridiculous. What made matters worst, the food was not warm or hot. I couldn't wait any longer so I left with the cold food. NEVER again!!

Scammed us this is ridiculous I come here every weekend to eat. The cashier refused to open the box in front of us and bagged it up so we wouldnāt check. She didnāt put gravy in our food after we said yes. And then I said does it come to plantains she said yes then wouldnāt give it to us. We came back in and she bagged us up āplantainsā and it was cabbage!!!! Stop playing in my face girl you will see me again lol.
