Very overpriced, and the drinks just aren’t that great! If I pay stadium prices for a drink, I expect it to be excellent. $16 for a Pina Colada that tastes like ice and barely any liquor? No thank you.

Super friendly and attentive service from Kim! Very convenient location for Hilton guests - between pool and beach. Nice menu options. Firecracker Shrimp wrap was refreshing and had a nice kick. Nachos were huge!Update- they are also the “Sand Bar” - same menu and great service!

Alexis is the BEST. She is hands-down the best server we could have asked for. Never once did we need for a refill. She was informed on the menu and even offered us fun facts on the creation of a favorite drink recipie. This girl is management material!

We came to Sandestin Hilton last year and truly enjoyed it. We've been looking for an opportunity to go back and it looks like that's happening in the next couple of weeks. One of the highlights is Barefoot's. We prefer to dine outside anytime we get the opportunity and Barefoot's didn't disappoint. Yes, it was crowded when we went there, but we found a great place to hunker down with a view of the beach and once we were settled in we were well taken care of. The food was surprisingly really good. For it being more of a hotel restaurant that's pumping out thousands of orders a day, we didn't expect much. Yes, they could have used more help but that's with every restaurant these days. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review.

Walked with whole family here along beach. Was supposed to be open but no one here.Checked the website and google listing prior to going here but once we arrived the restaurant was open but no one was there.Tried to eat inside but no one was available to help us at restaurant and were told that we could order food from some other place and sit at tables if we wanted to.

Great experience, beautiful view. Nice staff. Bacon burger was well seasoned, fries were delicious. All around great place to eat/drink.
If your staying at the Hilton I would recommend this place. It is located right in the pool area. The blackened grouper sandwich was very good. The burgers are big enough to split for two people. There is not a kid menu or portions. The drinks were very good but can cost between $10 and $20 per drink. Very expensive and not that great of a view of the beach. I would only go here if you don't feel like fighting the traffic to head into Destin. Which could take up to 45 min during peak season.

After intermittent fasting, swimming, and hanging out on the Hilton Sandestin Beach, I was famished. So, I was ready for a tasty and fulfilling lunch. Because Barefoot Beachside Bar and Grill is on the property, I decided to look at its menu options. Everything on the menu fit my dietary desires such as salads, wraps, seafood, meat! Plus, gluten free ingredients. I selected the j*** chicken nachos because it’s been a while since I’ve had any. I must say, I picked a true winner! These nachos were delicious! There was so much to enjoy like the chicken, avocado, jalapeños, tomatoes, corn tortillas chips, etc. My waiter was extremely prompt with taking my order and the food was well presented (see photo). I plan to get the mango salad for dinner. It too looks great.

It was really hard to get help here, glad we caught Mohamed he was nice and helped us out when everyone else passed us by or overlooked us. The food was really mediocre here unfortunately because they are right in the middle of the 2 pools at the Hilton and the beach. The drinks are mediocre as well, seemed really watered down. Our last day there we got Alexis and she finally made us some good drinks! Again, the drinks are decent, might take a few to get you going though. Conclusion: hit or miss good luck.

The menu is limited, very pricey, but hey! what you expect, you are on the beach. The view is nice, the food was nice, and the drinks expensive not too strong. It closes too early to be resort, it should be open until late.

We went down to try out some of the food, and seated ourselves. The waiter we had was quite attentive, and got our orders fast. The first issue arose when we tried to make a substitution to our meal, and our waiter explained that all the food was pre made and stored, and he could not make any changes. Considering they were charging $17 for this quesadilla, it was surprising it was not made fresh. When it arrived, the portion was smaller than expected, especially for its high price. The food tasted good, but I would have expected much better quality for a dish that almost exceeds $20 for a tortilla, cheese, and chicken. The soft drinks were almost $4, and brought our total to $27. With gratuity included we paid $30 for a quesadilla and two drinks. Most dishes cost around the $20 mark, and so if you are ordering a dish for each member of your family, rather than sharing a small snack like we did, you’ll end up spending about $30/person for some pre-prepared food that they heated up. Take your money elsewhere, the Uber you take to get to another restaurant is better worth the cost than this “grill”.
Absurdly slow inattentive service
