Food was terrible. We paid $550 and left upset. All sides were bad. Truffle fries taste like burnt chips, mashed potatoes were mediocre at best and tasted like onion soup powder was added to them, cream of corn had so much semi raw onion pieces I had to spit it out. My daughter who loved pasta didn’t eat their severely bland Mac and cheese. Our steaks were cooked ok, I had better steaks for less than half the price. mushroom sauce was watery and bland. Only thing that I enjoyed was the pear cocktail. I wish I never went there. Left feeling robbed, we waisted so much money on a meal just to go buy my kids pizza.Paid for 1 soup 4 cocktails, 2 steaks, 4 sides and water (including tip). 2 adults 2 kids.

I cannot rave enough about this place! Absolutely pricey, but worth EVERY cent. Yes, the food was fabulous, but it was definitely the service from Paul and Joseph that made our experience phenomenal! If you’re able, do NOT miss out on this evening out!!

Upfront: Everything was amazing. The experience is that of luxury, attention, doting, and extreme care for the food. Great/quality ingredients and excellent variety in a regularly changing menu with the finest cuts of meat and seafood. This type of dining is not my every day. Week, month or even year. This is certainly out if the ordinary for us. We enjoy fine dining and do it when we can. This is some if the best I've experienced. Is it pricey? Absolutely, probably more than it needs to be. I've had fancier meals for less, but I'm not complaining by any means. I was happy after the meal and the check because the wait staff was superb. The food amazing, and atmosphere supreme.Highly recommend Seagars for a grand occasion or if you just want to experience luxury and the best steak of your life.

We tried something new, and I have to say this place is not gonna get a five star review. The service was good and everyone we encountered was very friendly, so let me get that out-of-the-way. The restaurant was dead and everything took forever. I believe we were there a total of three hours. For the price the food was not impressive. The drinks I would have to say were the best part but I am a foodie not a drinker. It's hard to be negative at all after eating lobster but as far as restaurant review goes, I would have to give this a three. I'm excited to go back to Local and family owned restaurants. I feel that they offer an overall much much greater value and it's just the vibe. Seagars is not a vibe.

It was for a 65th anniversary there was 12 of us and the service was superb until the food arrived, full lobster dinner so tuff you couldn't chew it and the surf and turf the lobster was tuff also and steak very salty no flavor at all... two people in our party ordered flounder which there was only 1 flounder available, when it came was very fishy hence probably old. What finished off the meal was cold coffee delivered then fresh pot offered after cold coffee was delivered! Don't waste your money!

Birthday dinner for my wife's 40th. Special from the moment we walked in the door. Greeted with a Happy Birthday when we checked in. The service was top notch. We requested a slow pace to enjoy the evening but attentiveness didn't lack. Very knowledgeable wait staff that took pride in their profession. Our courses were spaced judiciously for a balance of conversation and meal progression and the food was outstanding. My thanks to the Seagar's staff for a wonderful evening.

Foie gras not as good as before, and served with a cool center. Onion soup and lobster bisque excellent. Steaks tasty but a bit chewier than previously. Shrimp (huge) cocktail outstanding. Twice baked potatoes bad, combining bland with sour taste. Mushroom side is very good with meat. Onion rings also very crispy-excellent. Benton chose a great wine for us. . Piano was a bit loud for normal conversation level. Have had intestinal upset for the past 10 hours, beginning last night

Was in town for the Gumbo festival and walked over to Seagar's, which is inside the Hilton Sandestin. We don't have a reservation but the maitre d seated us to a nice 2-top booth. Might have helped I had a Hilton Honors membership. Had the venison and Carol had the Sole, deboned table-side. We finished up with some bananna-peanut butter ice cream and glass of eiswein.

Exceptional service and quality. Superb wine prices.Chateaubriand for two was a healthy portion and cooked to perfection. The mushrooms were incredibly delicious. The French onion soup is out of this world flavorful. The two waiters were extremely attentive and polite. So happy to have a five star experience.

We had an amazing experience last night. From the moment we were greeted when we arrived we knew Seagar's would be excellent! Grabbed a drink at the bar before dining enjoyed live music. Followed by a delicious dinner in the spacious dining room. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Phenomenal menu, drinks, service, and atmosphere. From being greeted by Rosalyn, to our excellent servers Ted and Joseph, our dinner date was the best we've had in a restaurant in the Destin area, rivaling those of bigger cities such as Atlanta and Philly which we also frequent. The surf & turf dish, and lamb chops were our selections. Paired with two cocktails recommended by Ted and Joseph, who alternated checking in to ensure we had everything we needed.. it was always at the right time.. never awkward or too much. Sonji also checked on us and made sure everything was to our taste and expectations. Much thanks to this team for an amazing experience--we'll definitely be back soon!

We were in the private wine room for our celebratory dinner. The hosts/greeters were professional and congenial, and our wait staff, right down to the bus boys, was absolutely top notch. Special thanks to a Scott and his mustachioed mentor (not one of the five of us could recall his name, and I totally blame the excellent wine and cocktails), who treated us as the queens we obviously are. Thanks so much for a memorable and delicious evening.

Seagars offers a great dining experience with standout dishes. Their steak is well-prepared, and the lobster bisque is rich and flavorful. Sides like Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes add to the overall enjoyment. The staff is attentive, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. Seagars stands out for its commitment to excellence, evident in every aspect. It's a sophisticated yet welcoming spot for those who appreciate good food.

The service is outstanding. Food is excellent. This is a very pricey place to eat but if it's a special occasion it's worth it! I ate there 2 x's last year when I was here and want to go back this time again.
