I went to the restaurant and I have to say, the food was okay, but they took forever to bring it out, by the time we got our food the table of more than us that came in after us was on their 2nd round of wings!

Thought we were going to Anchor Inn for a couple of burgers BUT, SURPRIZE! NEW OWNERS AND NAME " BLACKBEARDS". ok, we're here let's try it...much more expensive than old Anchor or Nauti Parrot BUT... good BLT and kinda expensively priced 1/2 pound burger ($16.50 no cheese or bacon) that said...BLT was excellent and the burger was well prepared. An interesting side note is the fries, which were ribbon cut and quite tasty. Adding cheese and bacon would get your burger up to $19.50 which is more than the Waldorf Astoria in NYC.

I took the time last week to stop Into a bar I heard some great news about. Primarily there thin crust pizza they make. Let me tell you! This pizza was not only crispy crunchy thin crust goodness but the oil wasn’t sopping on it and the blend of Wisconsin cheese was enough to keep you coming back for slice after slice. It was a 16 inch pie and they have a healthy selection of specialty pies I cannot wait to return and try! When you first see the pizza it comes out with a already pre made crust with the cheese and sauce complimenting the thinness. At first looks like you will devour the pie in seconds but don’t be fooled. The flavor of this pizza will have you wanting to save some for later because of how savory the combination between the crunch, the shreds of cheese and the sauce dance around your taste buds as you eat it with ease. Truly a nice place to stop in. Reminds me of a pirate ship inside the establishment. It has a small bar in the front with ole wooden ship rustic decor and a large room in the rear near the docks/water. For north fort Myers and myself being from the real Jersey Shore I can continue to find places like this to keep my love for pizza happy for a long time coming. They even have karaoke, darts and a menu with a few interesting items on it like the sweet and salty burger. Don’t forget the margaritas specials. Anchor in Bar and Grill truly a nice place. Yes they are from Wisconsin. Check this place out when you have time!

Just mediocre. This place could use a good deep cleaning for their dining area, especially on the booths. Husbands beer was warm. Cheese curds were great but pizza was expensive and not very good. Crust was as thin as a tortilla. Nothing like Northern IL/Wisconsin pizza.

Really great place. Right on the water with excellent atmosphere, drinks and live music on certain days. This is right next to The Naughty Parrot and they have live music which is easily heard as well. Everything I’ve ever had to eat there is excellent but I must recommend the pizza. It’s a thin crust Chicago style (square cut) which is my type of pizza. There are burgers, wraps and the usual for everyone else. The owner is cool and spoke to us for a while (he’s originally from Wisconsin which explains the pizza style. We go here at least once a month and I highly recommend you give this small local business a chance.

The outside seating was great. The grilled chicken sandwich was amazing. No sides come with it other than a carrot stick. French fries are extra. Inside was dirty and a creepy environment. If we came back we would only do togo. Server was the only one working and didnt have time for any tables

What a great little find! Good food and a wonderful view of the water in front. We had French onion soup and hamburgers and chicken quesadillas with iced tea for a beverage. Our server was excellent and very friendly. We dropped anchor here for lunch because a friend recommended this place to us. Loved it. We will be back. A classy/casual and fun waterfront bar/restaurant.

Had the Mahi Fish Tacos for lunch. They were very good. My friend had the Cauliflower Bites appetizer. They were small bites but very tasty. Our server Chris was very attentive and he patiently answered all our many 1st time visitor questions about the food and drinks.

I've eaten here a number of times in the last year and have enjoyed everything. The place is funky and the staff is hard working.

Had the patty melt and a spicy chicken wrap . Washed it down with wine and shock top beers. Great waitress. Sat waterfront at the marina at a nice shaded table

We chose to sit outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. There are 6 large tables, 2 seating areas with couches and tables and a few chairs. You can listen to music and watch the boats slowly go by. We had a big pretzel as an appetizer and it was hot, salty and it disappeared in minutes! Jarrett was our server and he was friendly, smiling and wanted to make sure we had a good time. I had the chicken fajita wrap- which was full of chicken but a little spicy for my taste. It was better after I smothered it with sour cream. The marinated chicken sandwich was very good, just wish we had paid more attention to the menu when we ordered, because we assumed the sandwiches came with French fries- like most places. They do have fries and they are only $2.00 with a sandwich- but you have to order them extra. We ordered them when our food came but the sandwiches were gone before the fries arrived. I will say they were worth waiting for! They were hot and crispy. It seemed to take a little longer than we thought, to get our drinks, but when we went inside we realized the bar was packed- so maybe they need another bar tender.

Nice spot for lunch or happy hour on the canal in Ft Myers. Our server was good, after he took our order ( MahiMahi fish tacos) he came back and told us the fish truck had not made it in yet 1:30 pm. We understood, ordered differently and we were happily surprised how well our second choices came out. Bravo. Great atmosphere and good food.

A generally pleasant place with good food and cold beer. It's the kind of place where the servers touch the rims of the beverage glasses - all the way around - as they deliver them to the diners. Server was pleasant if chatty, and not too clear on the concept of timing (one drink arrived 22 minutes after it was ordered, just as the food came; the other drink came a few minutes later after the server was reminded). Clearly many places are understaffed or staffed with less-experienced people. Come here to have a drink by the water, have a bite, and be patient!
