This restaurant wasrecomended by our friends to be the best. I guess i expected more. 3 had ribs which were good. The potato salad was just ok. The cole slaw and beens were very good but was surprised by the small bean portion. Ihad a pulled pork sandwich and a side of beans. I asked for the pulled pork with sauce but i believe it came back as the seasoned kind which was so salty and nothing like the flavor i have ever tasted with a pulled pork sandwich i thought i was getting it on a roll but it came on bread which you couldnt pick up to eat because the bottom was to soaked to eat as a sandwich the 2 sauces you have are just ok i should have said something to our server but i didnt so some things were ok and some were not ok by me. the server was very good

A great little BBQ place just around the corner from where I live. Reasonable prices, and good food. Lunch and Early Bird specials available. Choice of meat and 3 sides plus garlic bread, or you can do combos. Meat was tasty and sauce (which I added) was good. Server (Lisa) was attentive and checked back, next time have to remember room for desert.

Second visit here in the past month. Don’t judge it by it’s rather modest appearances - get yourself a meal and then decide. Delicious Smokey ribs, chicken, fish. Generous portions at modest prices for todays economy, and you get THREE side dishes along with dinner entrée’s (choosing from over a dozen side offerings). House wine and beers (50 cent drafts 3-9pm on Wednesday) and a delicious dessert list guarantee you won’t leave here hungry. We had three adults order dinners along with alcohol and dessert all on a combined tab of $69 including tax. ‘Nuff said.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend so we decided to try it. Servings are very generous, everything was delicious and our waitress was fantastic! Onion rings were perfectly cooked and not at all greasy, my chicken, pork, beef and rib deluxe tasted great. Cole slaw and potato salad were tasty and fresh. Portions were so large that we took over half of our dinner home. The only issue was that it took about 5 minutes to get a parking spot - not because there were no spaces, but because there were so many cars in the drive through. We'll definitely be going back soon.

I love this place. It's a bit older establishment but their food is good. They offer bbq styled menu items. My favorite is their baked beans. They are made fresh and have plenty of meat in them. I can usually eat them as my meal. I live one block away so when I'm in the mood for some bbq I just order ahead and pick up at the drive thru window. I recommend this establishment if you're craving a really fresh made bbq.meal

Been in Florida for a few months and have been used to good Texas BBQ. Smoke'n Pit is the best. We have stopped looking for our go to BBQ restaurant. This is it. They even serve you at the table, most places in Texas you order at a counter and then have to get your own drinks. We arrived about 1:30 and the parking lot was full but we did not have a problem getting seated. They even had a variety of desserts, coconut cream pie, key lime pie and many others. The BBQ beans really are the best like their sign states.
Great Fried mushrooms and the bbq was nice and rare like I asked for. Ice tea keep flowing. Reasonable for what u received

Food is over the top divine! We had the special bbq ribs and chicken. 3 sides. We had the amazing cole slaw, baked whole sweet potato and fried okra. Yum. Also 2 pieces Texas garlic toast. We took half home. Food is fresh, tasty and great value. Nice server. We will certainly return.

We haven't been here in 3 -4 years. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Sunday in Oct. The place was spruced up since our last visit. The place appears to have either more windows or the windows were enlarged. A nice view outside. No more Vittle's Bar since Covid, this was one of our favorites especially the baked beans with pork. The server, Lisa was efficient and the foods were good. We had baby back ribs with corn, sweet potato & slaw and the chicken dinner with corn, baked beans & baked potato. All were delicious. The rib meat fell off the bones and the chicken was tender. We had enough foods for a snack later. The menu is condensed from years ago from 3-4 pages to 1 sheet with 7 choices for dinner, 8 for lunch, 7 sandwiches & 5 apps. There is enough to choose and all reasonably priced. All the workers were friendly & helpful. We will return sooner next time. Remember Draft Beers are still $.50 on Wednesdays!
