Can’t rate the food. Unfortunately. We went in on a Sunday for lunch. Staff took our name and said that we could wait outside for a table. We did so. As we were waiting two other couples walked in and were seated immediately… other customers noticed and made comment that we had been waiting. Sorry, but when you don’t take reservations, we should’ve been seated. Guess my money wasn’t green enough and I didn’t look like I needed lunch. Reviews looked fantastic, but if I get pushed away like that, I will eat elsewhere. Sorry guys. Was looking forward to trying a new place.

I dragged my wife and a neighbor to Steve’s Place for the first time with a purely selfish reason - to try “The Hoosier” pork tenderloin sandwich I had heard was so outstanding. Holy Moly!! It was amazing.Other menu selections are also wonderful, and the service and overall experience will keep us coming back.

Went in for breakfast this morning. It was awesome as usual the serving sizes are enormous. We could share one meal and still not eat at all.

The owner is the chef! So cool! The food is always good! I have ate the chicken sandwich and the chicken fingers! Fries were perfect too ?? ??

Small corner restaurant that puts out huge plates of delicious southern and Midwestern faves. Fried pork tenderloin pounded thin and thinly breaded as entree or sandwich. Served with good sides and fried chicken looked excellent as well.
Met for late lunch 2pm with 2 friends. Very long wait - place is small & popular. All 3 of us has Broasted Chicken (house specialty) some of pieces were overcooked but very tasty. Veggies were fresh and cooked well. Service was pleasant. Fries were plentiful & hot. No one returned for water refill.Dietary restrictions: No non dairy dessert options.

The best chicken I've had for years! 5 of us all had different orders and it was fantastic,!The food was hot for everyone.I could only eat half of the chicken, took the rest home.A great experience for all of us. We got dessert and brought it home.
