I promise you, from the many Fritangas located in Sweetwatet, this one will NOT disappoint. I mean... there is always a line . They have an array of items to choose from, and I promise the portions they serve is sufficient for two. The service, it's not the best per say, the ladies always seem rushed and annoyed, but the food will make up for their lacks . Now the parking situation, especially during rush hour, is a pain in the rear! Be patient, you might have to go back round to be able to find a parking spot.

This place is delicious. The carne asada was great! Big portions and fresh. The queso frito was also nice and hot. I'd return and recommend.Super rico. Lo recomendo.

I was excited to have a fritanga 5 mins away from my house. The food was fresh and the meat was cooked on the spot per order. Portions is smaller that other fritangas. The Staff was pleasant & place was clean. Prices are good for the area. The reason for 3 stars is that the food was off on authentic Nicaragüense flavor. Now it was not bad. In fact it was good.I will visit this place again and hopefully I can give them 5 stars.

I live in Broward and when visiting the Miami area, I like to enjoy a meal that reminds me of my roots. This fritanga I have visited throughout the years and the only reason that keeps me coming back is the good tasting food. Service on the other hand, is extremely questionable. The servers ask you what you will be having and turn around to talk to their coworkers or do something else while you are left on limbo...you are not even told to "please hold". When they finally acknowledge you, you are also served unnecessary attitude. I try to keep calm and collected, but it is frustrating when the service you receive is not deserved. Not to mention, the price is on the hefty side and parking is a nightmaren. I ask for no sauce from a beef stew, and guess what I got most of? Yes, extra grease from the stew instead of none or light. They just refuse to listen. For these aforementioned facts, I would not recommend and hope this feedback will get their management's attention and make some changes to improve their service.

Awesome place - for the money you cant get any better

Giving a two star rating on the steak sandwich. Have not tried anything else off the menu. Service was great, but that steak sandwich had no taste and the steak was soo dry. The sauteed onions had not flavor either. Maybe it's just the quality of the meat they use. The lemonade was good though.

Wish I could give 0 stars. The attention is literally HORRIBLE. I don't know what other way to phrase it, if I'm being honest. I literally witnessed the woman who was attending me, re-heat the chicken I asked her for, in front of me. Who does that? Apart from that, I received nothing but attitude the entire time. The place is always full and the attention is never any good. This is definitely the last time I come again. When it came time to paying, I gave the lady who was charging me a $20 bill and told her to put the rest on the card (there minimum for a card is $8, something I've never heard of) she gives my card to another cashier, and the cashier charges the entire amount on my card. Totally ignored my $20. On top of that she said, she didn't hear her say "$20 cash and the rest on card" she said she couldn't do anything about it. She couldn't give me a breakdown of what I ordered. $30 for 2 meals that had to be re-heated and for bad attention. I'm good, they definitely don't deserve the money I payed nor my time. Take the time and visit the "fritanga la chavala" right next to them, small little place, they'll give you better service then these conceded employees at "carne asada tortilleria"

Tried the zucchini soufflé and it was delicious. The tacos were also very good. Will definitely go back. Why

BEAT FRITANGA EVER LET ME TELL YOU. First things first, this review is coming from a family of 100% nica. Both of my parents are from Nicaragua and Nicas love eating nica food (obviously). I have been to countless of fritangas all over miami and no fritanga will beat this one. The food is always 10/10 and the amount they serve you is crazy. I buy a regular order for $9 and I have dinner AND lunch to take for work. I normally get the carne asada with Gallo pinto (my favorite meal ever) but sometimes I go in and get white rice, beans, salpicón, and no place has ever made the salpicón so similar to my mothers. The food here just taste natural and from home. Now I'm ngl, this is a very small location so inside (before covid) can feel very overwhelming and some might say the customer service isn't the best. But to be completely honest when you have 10 Hispanic Families inside this location and you are also serving people and passing over their food, it can get pretty hectic, but throughout covid they have done such a great job with mask and controlling the amount of people inside. And they are so quick and they always make sure you have everything before leaving double checking your order. Ive been coming to this fritanga for years and every time I try a different fritanga I always compare it to this one.
