The moment we visited Miami, we were very excited to visit a Nigerian restaurant and so we landed on Moji. I'm writing this review so the owner of the place can improve. You are running business in Miami and not in a local Nigerian village. Let your business meet the standards of the place you are running it. We were very disappointed in the environment, the service and the food. First, for a restaurant that is run in Miami, this does not meet the standards of the area. The curtains were old, inside was dark and there was no light coming in, there was piled up chairs in the corners, clothes being sold in the place, the place smelled musty and moldy. There was an old pool table that looked like a chopping board. The server brought dirty table mats and we had to point that out. The server had attitude and was rude. We did appreciate that the food wasn't oily, but the Egusi did not meet the standards we were expecting. We took some drinks for home and upon arrival, we looked at the expiration dates for the drinks and they were expired drinks. We asked for spicy gizzards to take home, the rude server reassured us that the gizzards were spicy enough and didn't need to be spiced up. The gizzards tasted like they were boiled in salt and a little pepper. They did not meet the standards we were expecting. I have been to so many Nigerian restaurants that serve spectacular food that make you want to go back to get more. I would not go back to this place.Vegetarian options: Spinach.

At Moji's, the culinary experience is a sensory delight, showcasing exquisite dishes such as the savory egusi and fufu, succulent assorted meats stew, aromatic jollof rice, and delectable sweet plantains, all enhanced by a selection of refreshing beers. Although the setting may leave a bit to be desired, the combination of exceptional service and flavors promises a memorable dining adventure.

The number for the website is someone’s personal number. When I called inquire about something on the menu and tried to order from over the phone the guy on the phone told me that I had to come in and order. Once I arrive to the location, the door is locked. Nobody’s in there, then shortly after waiting in my car I see a lady open the door look at me and then close the door again. I go to the door and a lady is in the kitchen looking at me. Then she comes to the door and doesn’t unlock it and she’s telling me through the little crack in the door the restaurant is open but it’s not open and she stating that the lady, I don’t know what lady she’s referring to, is not there but she’s on her way. And she doesn’t know what time she’s coming. That’s so unprofessional. And it sucks because the food is actually pretty good here. It took me about 30 to 40 minutes for me to get here so it was definitely a waste of time.

The pounded yam and okra is heavenly. It took me an hour to get home and it was still hot when I got home. Just the right amount of spice.

I honestly have not tasted food so bad.The efo riro was simply spinach floating around in water. The okra was made of the same murky sauce.

I loved it. The restaurant is very cozy and clean. It feels like you’re at someone’s house about to eat. It’s a husband and wife establishment. The gentleman is very kind and gives off warm vibes. The food is amazing very flavorful and spicy. I’d definitely go back. It’s a YES for me!

Called this restaurant to confirm reservation for five people, the woman was very on the phone but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. We entered the restaurant but the woman said we were too many, asked us to wait outside with wait time of over an hour. Restroom was nasty, we decided to leave the place with a very bitter experience.

As another west African down here, it's hard to find good authentic food. Tried this place and it was great, and the owners were so kind? I had the pounded yam and okro soup.
