Sergio's is a reliable Miami franchise serving traditional Cuban food with a modern twist. Honestly, I usually for for their Pollo a la plancha entree with white rice and lime on the side. I ask for cebollitas with my chicken as it really seals the deal for me when the juices get soaked into the rice I'm pairing it with. A cafecito here is obviously liquid fuel so since it's imperative to "ponerse las pilas" in this town then a cortadito on the side is a must. If you want something light, the empanadas have always been fresh whenever I've snagged a hit and delicious pocket of doughy goodness filled with meaty goodness galore. They have an express feel to it since the interior isn't large and the menu is structured for quick-ordering. It's casual Cuban food done just right with attractive pricing for the quality they offer. Plus, it's #MadeInDade

Went to the take out area, guy taking the orders was trying to do too many things at once. I repeated my order multiple times and he still messed it up. Food and coffee was great though.

I ended up giving up because they couldn't handle the small group of us trying to order plus call in orders. All of us were getting super frustrated. Thank God I hadn't ordered yet so I could just leave. They are way understaffed and the people they do have are clueless about how to prioritize. STAY AWAY. HORRIBLE SERVICE. My email is [email protected].

Best Empanadas everrrr! AND they're baked vs fried. So happy to have Sergio's nearby for a quick breakfast or lunch. Only tried their bowls once, so far. It was late at night and I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, the food was delicious, full of flavor and pretty fresh, despite it being late at night. One observation: The staff (so far from my experience) is pretty bleh. Not friendly, gives the impression they really do not want to be there. Other than that, I highly recommend!

Today was my 1st visit. I only went for coffee. The barista was awesome. Warm, friendly, accommodating & made a damn good cafe con leche.

This is a family restaurant in which your Cuban taste will meet authentic flavors. The service is fast and good.

Their food is always delicious and fresh. Above all, they are very personable and professional. Their customer service is second to none, and you can't beat the prices.

Typical Cuban food, but with a fresh Approach. It can be a little pricey. However, I did order Pollo a La Plancha using a coupon which I only bought a drink. Without the coupon it would of cost over $ 13 for this lunch, ouch. Flangains down the street has a better dine-in lunch special but they take time about an hour. The food was good. Nothing to rave about here. They do carry a cool artisan soda line which has very good flavors and taste. If your craving healthy cuban food this is the spot to be. The beans and rice very flavorful. I did wish the chicken came with more of the diced onions, it was very skimpy.

It's pretty hard to mess up a typical cuuban breakfast. Eggs , bacon, tostada and cafe con leche. i go to sergios A LOT (this was the first time at this location) this is by far the worst breakfast i've ever had . I wish i had taken more pictures but we barely touched our food and we're dying to leave from how bad it was. The cafe can leche was all coffee and espuma (i had to ask for milk on the side and that was all espuma as well, we didn't even drink half our coffees cause it was so bad) the tostada was so hard you couldn't even break it apart. Mind you i had ordered an extra tostada because the meal we ordered came with "half" a tostada and i like my cuban bread, well none of the cuban bread was touched because it was so hard. Very disappointed, again, we go to sergios in doral and on 8 street a lot and this location was a disappointment to the chain.

I ordered 2 ham & cheese empanadas. They gave me empanada which tasted like chicken. I went back to the counter with those empanadas requesting to change it for ham & cheese. They said "this is ham & cheese", which was impossible because I know how it look and taste after 36 years eating those empanadas. That was CHICKEN! I feel like they tried to make me look like a stupid. They gave me something else "filled" with cheese. You can see the picture I leave here. Tell me, where is the cheese? I returned my order with no money refund. I'LL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE.
