Absolutely firing up everything I've got here, I mean everything - pork shoulder "Pernil" empanadas, boiled yuca, Alcapurrias. If you want a taste of Puerto Rico ??, it's all here, literally.
Omgoodness this lil hole in the wall is the spot, you walk in & first thing u hear the salsa music playn, then the guy a flaquito I forgot his name, is awesome. Love the hospitality, then came the deliciousness of food, we had sorullitos for appetizer then the Chulata kankan was the bomb, it was well cooked the cuerito was crunchy & them beans were so gooood. I don't even eat beans pero that jugito ( juice) had flavor, pieces of ham & papa's. I tore it up....
First time here and this is our new favorite Puerto Rican spot. Everything was amazing. The bistec with white rice and the most amazing Habichuelas. Mofongo con carne frita...WoW!!! Papa Renena, Bacalaito, Alcapurria, can't decide which was my favorite, but they were all fire. Didn't catch her name but our server, The Birthday Girl was awsome. Can't wait to go back for some Sancocho!
