Eh..wasn't very good. They were out of most flavors. Settled for standard lemon. Was very chalky. Shack is pretty run down. Needs major face-lift and more care put into products and management.

This place does not make anything remotely close to Italian ice. It is frozen food coloring with chemical flavors. Sketchy folks are always sitting in front of the joint. For the price you pay you’d think some sort of fruit would be used.

Place is awesome. I have lived in this area for 20 years. First time I got something here. Guy came out to get the order because I was a few cars behind. Italian ice is delicious. Guys in there were all smiles. I will be back a lot more often!!!!!

Amazing!!! Price is great and everything tastes soooo delicious!! Service was fast as well and it's such a cute little place off to the side. You can even sit down on the bench to eat, or take on the go through the drive through. Love this place!

This place is 10/10 the best and my favorite go-to spot for Italian ice. It is drive through or you can walk up to the window. Located next to the publix. I love this place!

My daughter spotted this corner shop while we sped by, headed to the beach. I immediately made a u-turn, because who doesn't love Italian Ice? I was fully expecting to taste the standard super sweet Ice flavor that I've had most of my life. Richie's is a great deviation from that. Still absolutely delicious, but a more natural taste. The bits of fruit really made the experience. The sizes were very generous and we happily gobbled up our treats. I'll be back to try their soft serve and gelati. Definitely give this place a try.

I felt like the Italian ice was more like a snow cone and not as smooth as Italian ice should be- soft serve was ok, nothing overwhelmingly good and I don't think the chocolate flavor was mixed all the way when it was served since it had a lot of specks in it and inconsistent flavor. Great prices through and quick service- don't park and eat because then you get stuck behind the drive thru line while trying to getting out

Richie's has been around for a long time and the reason is that they serve the best handmade frozen ices and gelati in south Florida. There was a brief moment where we thought we would lose them due to the opening of Publix on the south side of Commercial, but Richie's was able to negotiate their small corner and are still going strong. My go to Italian Ice is the combination of their coconut and anything (tangerine, lemon, etc.). On occasion I will order a Gelati with their creamy vanilla gelato blended in with my ice. Richie's makes a great Cuban coffee and Cafe con Leche if you are in the mood. Always a great dessert stop or pick me up whenever you are eastbound on Commercial!
