Went here expecting for the food to be good since so many people said online that it was and it ended up being quite mediocre. First off, when I stepped inside it was very dim and the servers were just sitting around doing their own thing I front of everyone and only approached us when my friend and I were looking around lost. The crab Rangoon was ridiculously tiny and came with barely any cream filling inside. The sushi was way too gummy-like and tasted of poor quality. The server didn’t even ask us if we wanted a beverage to start off with. Not worth the hype and your time

What happened? New owners? I have always eaten here. Always very good. Been about a year and just awful now. Fired rice was white rice with carrots and peas. Shrimp sauce was plain mayo. Shrimp tempura was cold and no masago. Has to be new owners cuz this is terrible food! Won't go there again. Disappointed. ?

Sushi was covered in way too much sauce, crab Rangoon was mostly just the shell and not any fillingThe review above was from about a year ago and just went back to give it another chance and I will not be back. Got hibachi and it didn’t have any flavor :/ super disappointing as it was expensive and i rarely go out to eat. Now I remember why.

I've been coming here for 10+ years. It's probably my favorite restaurant in all of Ocala!It's family-owned and operated, they have the best and freshest sushi, prices are amazing, portions are more than enough, and the ginger dressing alone is worth coming in!I can't say enough good things about this place or the food, you just have to come and try it yourself!Vegetarian options: Tofu options, tempura veggies, veggie rolls, fried rice, soup, salad.

Great first time experience here. Ordered Tofu teriyaki which was amazing and delicious. They offer a great variety of sushi rolls to choose from. The spring rolls with spicy sweet & sour sauce was a delight to start enticing your pallette.
Yum!! So glad I found this delicious little sushi place after moving out here to Ocala from Jax. Great menu, lots of variety to choose from. I've ordered many times, both sit down and delivery, and service has always been excellent, quick, friendly, and exactly as ordered. The restaurant is clean and very cozy. I love coming to Aki Sushi!
