First time in their new location. Ambiance was not as good. Very high priced which is acceptable, however the service was not as exceptional as in the past. Seemed very robotic, and not sincere. We were disappointed. Food was excellent, but the overall experience was not what we expected!

Katya is a special and amazing dining experience here in Ocala ! They treat you like family and pay special attention to every detail to make it memorable! We celebrated my birthday there, Chef Tony and his staff when above and beyond to celebrate it for me !

We go to Katya for the food and wine experience. It is not inexpensive, but it's worth every penny. The flavor combinations are outstanding and unlike any you will taste even at some Michelin starred restaurants. We wish this restaurant was located in a space that befits its cuisine. Although it has been redecorated, the space lacks ambiance. Because, we understand this locale holds a special place on the hearts of the owners, we accept their choice and overlook the decor. The only criticism we have is an important to us. We wish Katya would polish their wine glasses especially since wines play such a big part of the experience.

The food was simply incredible. In fact, the chef came to table-side and shaved the truffle onto our dish. He ensured we had a very pleasurable experience. The wine was remarkable although after looking online, it was retail $12.50 with an increase of nearly 400% at the restaurant. The pianist and cellist were amazing providing live entertainment and the staff were extremely accommodating! Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Would certainly come again.

I want to first say the restaurant is beautiful and our server AJ was very good and very attentive. Cocktails were nicely made, a bit expensive, but nicely made. My husband and I split a salad and it was the best part of the meal. They charged $3 to split the salad and that's ok. Now the bad. We wanted surf and turf and they had a 8 oz filet on the menu for $76.00 and a lobster tail for $38.00. We were going to split that dinner because after the salad I wasn't that hungry. The do have an $8.00 charge to split and that's ok. I asked how big the lobster tail was for $38. She stated it was 8 oz. Ok. I'll pay that much for an 8 oz tail. When dinner arrived the lobster tail was no more than a 4 oz total split half for me and half for for my husband. Two bites and it was gone. I would have never paid $38 for 4 oz of lobster, never so wrong answer in telling me it was 8 oz before I ordered. Now the filet which clearly was not a filet. It was tougher than any meat I ever had. It didn't even look like a filet. It was raw in the middle and we ordered medium. You couldn't even cut it easily with a steak knife. When I told them that they commented that they were sorry. We did complain and was asked if we wanted a dessert on them. That one plate of dinner was $122.00! If you're going to charge high end prices then please serve high end food. We do not have an issue in spending money on a nice dinner at all but that was unacceptable! The risotto that was paired with our dinner was delicious. I'm not sure if it was the manager that spoke to us and offered us a dessert or not but if it wasn't, Then he should've gotten the manager for us. Joann Peruzzi.

A wonderful evening and the food quality and taste was superb. Had a little mix up with the wait staff and though some beautiful live piano music in the background, the overall noise level of other guests was a bit too much for our taste. We will be going back!

Disappointing experience last night. Everything was fine until the entrees, which at these prices you'd expect excellence. My wife's filet was cooked improperly at first and lacked flavor. Her veggies we hardly able to be cut with a steak knife. My sea bass was cooked properly but lacked flavor and sat on a bed of lukewarm (at best) black fettuccini. They sent us home with a funky chocolate/cheesecake dessert as an anniversary gift. Nice touch, but funny taste. Disappointing $300 evening. Then my wife was ill from something she ate in the middle of the night.

Katya is a first class establishment for fine dining. Great menu and great vibes! The place was alive and vibrant. Food was fantastic along with great service. We'll be back...

We were celebrating our birthdays at Katya. We enjoyed our appetizer and cocktails very much, that's when the evening took a disappointing turn. My husband ordered the AAA ahi tuna entree. It was certainly not AAA. It had an “off” quality. He did not finish his tuna , as he always does. I ordered the “surf and turf” ravioli. If it's not removed from the menu, it should be. Thankfully it was removed from the bill. W Noise level was over the top loud. We did not stay for coffee but was offered a dessert to take home.

Love this place! First time at the new location. Our server wasn't the best - she seemed distracted, but the owner realized and she jumped in so our service ended up being a positive experience.

Everything was fine until the entries. Steak improperly cooked and lacked seasoning. Sea base was cooked properly but lacked flavor, and the black fettuccine was luke warm. It's disappointing for the price charged.

One of the most enjoyable dinners I have had in a long time. Food was incredible, staff was so pleasant, good wine selection. We drove 45 minutes just to eat here and was not disappointed.

Incredible as always. Chef Tony just changed a few items on the menu and they did not disappoint! Between him, Katherine, and Liberty it was another amazing night! Hands down one of the top places to eat in Marion and Alachua county!
