Ocala has a lot of good restaurants downtown, but if you’re looking for something a little extra special, and more authentic, you must do yourself a favor and go try Sushi Bistro! One of Ocala little hidden secrets, they have the best shrimp tempura and if you’re in the mood for real authentic sushi, you must give this place a try you will not be disappointed! Friendly staff, and the food is always fresh and delicious. We go every chance we get and haven’t ever not once been disappointed! It is right on the square. :)

Hands down our favorite sushi restaurant in town! We got the volcano and my absolute favorite the slap your ma ma. Or something like that type name. Very tasty, crunchy, and I immediately wanted another one. The service was totally fine. We are headed bk there not even 3 days later tonight..lol, definitely great sushi.

My recent sushi experience at Sushi Bistro was exceptional, particularly with their spicy tuna rolls. The spicy tuna was a perfect balance of heat and flavor, with fresh tuna mixed with spicy mayo and wrapped in nori and rice. Each bite offered a delightful explosion of taste, leaving me craving more. The ambiance at Sushi Bistro was modern and chic, and the service was attentive, making it a fantastic spot for sushi lovers. If you're looking for delicious spicy tuna rolls, Sushi Bistro is definitely worth a visit.

My wife & I stopped in on a Monday evening to have a casual dinner. Sushi Bistro was where we had our very first date, so we knew we wanted to come back. When we entered, we were immediately impressed with the ambience! Upon a very friendly greeting and ushering, we decided on where to sit, electing for a table. The dining area was reasonable busy for a Monday night; a good sign for the anticipated quality of dining. The sushi bar seemed ready to accommodate more guests as well.We waited no more than five minutes to have our drink order be taken. We ordered a bottle of plum wine, which was quickly brought to our table. The wine was just as tasty as we remembered. Our wine was attended to the entire evening and so our glasses never emptied! The service was above and beyond what one can expect.The sushi rolls we ordered were excellent as well! If memory serves, we ordered the Jax Roll and the Dynamite Roll. Additionally, we ordered a couple of pieces of sashimi à la carte (eel & squid). On top of being delicious, the food was beautifully plated.Sushi Bistro is the best sushi I've had in Ocala! It is authentic and the prices are quite reasonable to boot. If you ever find yourself in the Ocala Downtown Square, make sure you stop and get some sushi (and maybe some plum wine too)!
