“I ordered the Tuesday special which was either grilled or fried shrimp. I got it fried which was prepared perfectly! Wasn’t too battered and the shrimp was fresh. The dish came with coleslaw and that too was delicious. I sat at the bar and as usual, Marcie took great care of me.“
“I’ve come to Carmine’s on several occasions while visiting Jacksonville. Every time I’ve ordered something different from the menu and each time it’s phenomenal. The Chicago style pizza is amazing and so is the nyc style crust. Literally cannot go wrong with anything here. And the service is excellent. Everyone is personable and friendly. Observing them interact with customers, it’s clear many patrons are regulars and on a first name basis with the staff.“

“We eat here regularly and the food coming out of the kitchen is always great. Looks good, tastes good. Ample portions. Inviting neighborhood atmosphere. Great staff make it fun to hang out. Excellent drinks and a good selection of wines and beers. Reasonably priced. The daily specials menu is varied and delectable. Always something new to try with confidence that it will be delightful. The grilled chicken wings are the best in Jville. Yummo.“
“We enjoyed our visit on a Saturday so much that we told friends on Sunday and talked them into going. Saturday was fabulous. Sunday the food was great but the refills were late as was the actual food for that visit. Many empty tables around us makes me think they don't actually expect nor staff for a lunch rush on Sundays. Definitely hit them up on a Saturday.“
“For a hotel lobby restaurant it's wonderful. The staff is fantastic. The bartender was excellent, and the food was fresh with an extensive menu. After a long day of driving, it was refreshing to find this gem. We missed the free happy hour for guests, but the drinks were priced right and we had amazing service. You can't go wrong here.“

They've got something to entertain all ages, nightly specials, and more than enough screens to accommodate all your favorite teams. “After seeing so many recommendations, my husband and I drove from Lake City to Jacksonville to check it out. We arrived on a Saturday shortly after opening. I was so hyped until I encountered a dark skin, slim young woman lady at the door who sat us to our table. I don’t know why but she was very rude, like she had a bad day before arriving at work or she just didn’t like us. I almost told my husband let’s go somewhere else but we had already drove all that way and I wanted some frozen drinks. However, after meeting our server, I got back into good spirits. She was super sweet, I wish I had got her name. The food was awesome. I had the stuffed salmon and my husband had the pork chop sandwich. The drinks were amazing. The interior, the vibes and the atmosphere was lit as well. There was a gentleman that came around to ask how everything was, I liked that. Besides the unpleasant lady at the door, everything else was 10/10. I’ll patronize again and hope that there’s someone else is there to greet us or that young lady is in a better mood.“
