My first visit today at Bird If Paradise. Best food I've had in a long time. I had cocoa Waffles and Sweet Potato Avocado toast with arugula, cherrie tomatoes and tempeh. It was all crazy delicious. Can't wait to go back. The atmosphere was great too. Very comfortable and inviting

Delicious food, great outdoor eating space. I especially enjoyed the gluten free Benedict with sweet potato instead of bread. Nice flavor/texture combo. My husband says, "I could eat here twice in one day." Highest marks from us.

Bird of Paradise meats and seafood are local as well as most of the produce, depending on the season. Everything is scratch-made and the entire menu is gluten-free and dairy-free. I ordered the lively and delish Island J*** Bowl with roasted pork as the protein choice. The tropical bowl of tender pork with fresh and crisp veggies over Jupiter brown rice was devoured in minutes, and the plantain chips are some of the best I've had.

We enjoy bird of paradise enough where my boyfriend and I have visited a handful of times. Always tasty, a great location, and if you decide you wanted to take cheese or wine home, or grab a coffee and maybe a few houseplants, then you're set!The ceviche starter is delicious. I love that the plantain chips are sweet mixed with the sour lemon flavor of the ceviche mix is a good combo. I recently ordered the Florida bowl with shrimp and an egg. It had a similar dressing to the ceviche started, so it was an excellent continuation. There was a lot of dressing at the bottom of the bowl which over-powered the rice so I opted to leave it behind. As a whole, the dish was delicious. Would ordered again. This lunch spot is an excellent locale to go to if one would be interested in fresh food. Whenever I want fresh, clean, and healthy lunch, I think bird of paradise. Give it a shot!

My husband and I ventured north and it was an adventure on I4 for sure! But because East End was mentioned in the Orlando Sentinel recently I wanted to check it out. Went to the website and saw this market is a great combination of local eats and goodies and events....oh my. So after we actually purchased tickets for a future brunch we drove off. Upon viewing BOP menu online I already knew I wanted to eat there. The service was friendly....and answered our questions about the small intimate menu. They were serving lunch and brunch. If you don't mind paying a little bit more for fresh, local ingredients......this is your place. I loved my breakfast bowl......sorry forgot which one.....delish sweet potato hash and this incredible cilantro dressing. Our starter was the ceviche ....yum yum fresh plantain baked chips, and the drinks were also great and inventive. Great little hang out. I will be back.

Delicious gluten-free food. They are a dedicated gluten-free facility that serves nothing but GF food.

I've been hearing a lot about east end market. It's been on my radar for a while. Today I finally got to check it out and ended up trying Bird of paradise. I did not know there are multiple businesses here. It's such a cool place with so many unique things to try. I'll definitely be back to try a few things. But at bird of paradise it was lunch time and my wife and I wanted something healthy. We got the Florida bowl and island j*** bowl both with shrimp. Each cost $15. A little on the pricey side but the shrimp is fresh and you can taste that. They also offer beer and wine. Someone next to me tried a beer flight and I was eyeing it!!This is a nice casual place to grab a bite and enjoy the scenery.

This place is super cute. It is located inside of east end market. I always order the Florida bowl with shrimp (no rice). The shrimp is juicy and savory. The sauce in the bowl has a lemon/tangy sauce in it. It is so flavorful and full bodied. I have also had their take on guac. It is yummy and lemony as well. Definitely love this place. The service is also good too. I have never waited more than a minute for someone to at least greet me. Very friendly and cute. I will be back again.

While East End Market can be tight on indoor space, Bird of Paradise usually has plenty of room to sit for a nice bite and relaxing drink. I usually just get a pint and I'm satisfied. Talk to the staff and get their opinions on what to have, everyone is incredibly friendly. This place, Ali with every vendor in the market, always makes me proud to be a local.

The reason I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 4, is the price. The meal I had was good and very pretty to look at at- but for $15 I was expecting a little bit more wow and flavor. The shrimp was a good size, and there was plenty in the Florida bowl, but it didn't have much flavor. The pickled vegetables were good! They had a great flavor that mixed well with the lemongrass dressing. I probably won't be eating here again but it was a decent meal. The beer choices are slim as well and pricey!

Food is good, the artwork and concept is beautiful, but the service is very unfriendly, pretentious and does not measure up to the same level. We've been back here several times, trying to ignore the fact that every time we have a drink and a bite to eat, we aren't going to have the best overall experience. If you are sitting at a table, you have to beg for service and walk up to the bar and request ANYTHING. Another drink, order anything else or even request the check. The bar staff doesn't smile, offer any friendly conversation or make you feel welcome at all. It just seems like a very unhappy bar and kitchen staff and the energy is clearly felt. Again, it's really too bad because we really want to love this place but I can't convince my husband to go here with me again. :(

My husband and I had dinner here on a busy Friday night (evening exchange). We were able to find 2 seats at the bar and we're helped right away. We went during sip and savor week and decided to try that menu. The deal included a drink so I ordered wine and my husband got a beer. Drinks were brought right out. For my appetizer, I chose the avocado hummus with veggies (also option to get chips) and my husband ordered the lettuce wraps with shrimp. Both were tasty. My veggies were fresh. My appetizer was a pretty generous portion. For my main dish, I got the sesame ginger bowl with shrimp and my husband got the Caribbean j*** (I think with pork?) I really enjoyed mine. Everything was fresh and the flavors were great. My husband liked his too but he doesn't really like sweet so he preferred my bowl. His only issue was that he wished the Caribbean j*** had some spice to it. But overall it was a healthy, fresh meal. Of course we ended it by eating a not so healthy ginormous slice of cake from their neighbors in the market. I thought the service was great. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Definitely a great option for some healthy eats and vegetarian/ pescatarian friendly.

Very popular bar/restaurant! Located inside East End Market, it is one of the anchor businesses and attracts the most customers. It's great for a 30-minute beer pitstop or a full day of day drinking. No matter what your taste buds call for, they always have a good selection of beer. While I haven't tried the food, the meats and seafood are locally raised in Florida and so are many of their vegetables. Everything is organic. Based on the menu, the food appears to be very "clean." The staff is extra friendly and attentive. I stop here every time I am at East End Market. If you visit East End, Bird of Paradise is a MUST!
