I felt so sorry for that poor server. He seemed like he was the only employee upfront. He was host, waiter, bus boy all in one taken care of multiple parties before both a soccer & hockey game! The food came out peace mail. How party was done eating before the other half got their food. The 3 flatbreads, which came out last after an hour, appeared to be frozen microwaved pizza.

Worst experience I've ever had in my life, we ordered 2 hamburgers and when almost 2 hours had passed, we saw people arriving and being served with their orders already on the table, I paid for the snack and didn't eat it, as we had an appointment. This was the first and last time we will go to this place, and I will not recommend it even to my worst enemy.

Food and the ambiance is amazing. I had a shrimp and codfish, with a side order of collard Greens and sweet yams. Drinks by Jeremiah was the icing in the cake. Worth the investment of money and time.

My organization rented out this restaurant for a workshop and brunch was catered. The food was SO good! We had chicken and waffles, grits, eggs, & bacon and everyone cleared their plates. The service was amazing. We had one waiter for ~30 ppl and he didn't miss a beat. I'll absolutely be going back!

HAPPY HOUR Menu was limited due to Supply Chain issues and being out of many things. Food quality and Service were good, but the live Sax player was WAY TOO LOUD for that space. Could not carry on a conversation or even communicate with our Server. Still working out some menu and kitchen issues, but I will return and believe they will improve.

Wish I would’ve took a photo of the “fried chicken” they tried to serve me. Waited over an hour for a 3 Piece Fried Chicken Platter which1. Was unable to get with cornbread because they ran out (how you run out of cornbread as a ‘soul food’ spot at only 4:30PM, I have no idea)2. Dealt with a fairly new server who wasn’t fully prepared to be handling customers quite yet3. Was served with a cold Hawaiian roll straight out of the packMe and my company of 2 were the only one’s in the restaurant yet watched as customers who came in much after us were served way before us. To top it all off as I finally get my food I cut the chicken open and am welcomed with the very clear sight of raw chicken to which I pushed my plate away and refused to eat. They claimed it had been cooked for 19 minutes prior to when I received it but the color of the meat was very contrary to that statement. Do not recommend this place in the slightest if you care about the vital functions of your body.

I have been looking for a place that serves Rochester “garbage plates” and decided to visit when I saw it on one of the old menus online. It was fantastic. My wife got the fried pork chop with okra and the potato salad and it was delicious. Service was great and the place is immaculate inside. Will definitely be coming back.

My friend and I stopped here before the Pink concert last night for some food and drinks. The wings were GREAT and my friend really liked her fried chicken. Our cocktails were good and strong.I’ll be completely honest though, and say that once it got busy with concert goers, the service slowed way down but I could tell they were doing their best, with a limited staff. Shantelle (or Nika?..she gave me 2 names) was our server and she was so sweet, and really doing what she could. All in all, it was a good spot and the food was awesome. Give them a chance! Just maybe don’t go when there’s a massive event going on because I’m not sure they can keep up with a big crowd.

Absolutely horrible! Busy resteraunt before an event, but waited an hour and 40 minutes for food. Overcharge for drinks ($9 vs. $7 on menu), literally out of chicken strips, shrimp, potatoes wedges. Ended up with 3 people eating sweet potato fries instead of an entree at $5 per little side dish plate. Poor service. I cannot tell how bad this place is to eat, but in a touristy location, so it might survive.
