Just average for me. Had the Twisted Margarita delivered and pizza was almost cold. Probably would have tasted better if it was hot, but preferred other establishment in the area we had to pick up from. Will likely go that route next time.

Based only on Yelp reviews and the recommendations on Piper's website, I picked up my first Twisted Margarita pizza for dinner last night and was pleasantly surprised in several ways. First, their operation is geared for customer service. My call was answered immediately by an upbeat lady who had all the answers, my pizza was ready at exactly the promised time, and the whole place was upbeat - everyone seemed like they were having fun. Second, the price was less than I had thought it would be. Apparently, the prices on the website are delivered prices (Ubereats...). And finally, the pizza was great - perfect crust, delicious cheese and sauces, and I've never seen a PRETTIER pizza. The cashier said they had fun making that style. I wish I had taken a picture, but it's on the site. Nice job, Piper's!

Look, I'm not saying I'm a pizza connoisseur or anything like that but I know the difference between a good pie and a great pie. Pipers has AMAZING pizza. Hands down best spot in the Palm harbor area. I might be buzzed half the time I order and while writing this review but that should speak volumes to how good the pizza is. I put down my beer to write this review. Everything you look for in a small business mom and pop and daughter? pizza shop. Great sauce, cheese, pepperoni and crust. Get the hot honey crust! Slide to house of beer, get a cold one and order a Pipers pizza you won't be disappointed. Had this place a dozen times, about time I left a review. Love the customer service and the pizza!

While visiting the area, we decided to look for a pizza place using Yelp. After seeing some of the highest ratings I've seen for a pizza place, we decided to give Piper's a try. It did not disappoint, we were very satisfied with both the quality and prices!

We were in search of an easy pizza takeout night after a long day and Piper's seemed like they could deliver, and did for the most part. The staff was very friendly, which is always a plus. We ordered the Four Horseman specialty pie, garlic knots, house-made meatballs, and a Caesar salad. The Four Horseman was just like your typical meat-lovers pie. What set it apart is its house-made meatballs. The pie itself was too my preference, thin-wise, although I wish it was left in the oven a bit more but that's just me. The Caesar salad was very fresh, which I appreciate but also very crouton and parm cheese forward. I don't mind that but I know it's not everyone's preference. The meatballs, although an order of two, could've been shared with 6 people. The marinara brought everything together. And the best thing we had was far and beyond the garlic knots. These are good without the marinara sauce imho. They did not skimp on the garlic and cheese. Overall, Piper's is a great choice for takeout.

First visit was most enjoyable! Thursday garlic knots were great! 6 free with $25 Not sure why hot knots were served with cold tomato sauce but they were good. Love the commitment to serve a great product. Large pizza is one of the best in FL. The family works great together and it reflects in the service and food served. We will return!

This pizza shop has a great vibe that just invites you in. Arrive hungry because each menu item offers tons of flavor. And then you need to stay for dessert. We couldn't decide so we ordered and ate cinnamon knots and the best cannolis we ever had. This time we enjoyed the Piper Pepperoni but we can't wait to go back for the homemade meatballs!!

I live in SWFL and heard the next time I was up in Pinellas county, I had to try Pipers Pizza. So when I came up to visit my folks, I told them we were going. The food was incredible! All fresh ingredients used and very friendly staff. Some recipes are 100 years old (gotta try the meatballs). Everything we ate was delicious. We actually called my brother while eating and told him to bring his family over to join us, they had to try it. They did and we all had a great time. Will definitely be back!

We had tried a pizza with hot honey up in Cincinnati and never have found a place in Pinellas County that had it on the menu - so good! We are looking forward to trying other items from their menu. How can you not love any business when the owners are committed to making sure food's good, service is awesome, and doing what it takes to bring you back. Had the homemade spaghetti/meatballs, and veggie pizza. All the veggies are clearly fresh as I learned he buys them daily from the market. The meatballs made by the chef who looks like he's sculpting clay and then throws in the Boston accent when you ask him any questions. Love it!

We were not impressed. The dough of the knots were tough and difficult to chew. Possibly over baked. The pizza crust was tough. It lacked sauce and flavor. The meatballs were large, dense with lots of gristle which was unappealing. An experiment we won't repeat!

Best pizza I've had in a long while. Crust is superb - the right thickness and texture. Good toppings too. It's a little tricky to find, tucked back in a plaza off a busy highway. But it's worth the trip. Nice to see somebody still knows how to make a pizza.
