Wonderful menu. Great service. Jennifer was our server. She knows the menu well and made excellent recommendations. My husband and I had the Wild Mushroom Tart for our appetizers. He had the bolognese special and I had Ossobuco. Highly recommend the restaurant.

We hosted my dad’s 70th birthday party at Massimo’s last night and I just have to say what a pleasure the whole experience was. I called to book the room and from there Massimo and his staff took great care of us from start to finish. The food and wine was all absolutely delicious, and our server Bethlehem took great care of us all night. We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back!

Exquisite menu and presentation. Flavors gentle and screaming at the same time. Staff attentive, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Tables set to give enough comfort privacy. It is a dining experience that we will have again and again.

Restaurants that's in back of the strip mall . I had the lobster bisque soup which every spoonful had a chunk of lobster. I also had the lobster ravioli was delicious great food great time I really recommend this place.
This restaurant is, without a doubt, the best in the area. Massimo is a great chef and his food is always outstanding. This night the service, which is usually top notch, was a bit off. There was a large party going on and maybe that stretched the servers a bit. However, don't let that discourage you. Typically great food, great service (usually) and a terrific wine list to boot. Enjoy.

We have dined with Massimo many times through the years and have never been disappointed. There is not a single selection on the menu that is anything less than outstanding. We always start with the wild mushroom tart, that is wonderful pastry accompanied by a mascarpone cream sauce which is beyond compare. My wife maintains that the Duck A L'Orange is best in the entire Tampa Bay area. Tender and perfectly prepared and extra sauce is a must, it is that special. On this visit I went back to one of my favorites, Veal Scallopini which is beyond amazing. Thin and tender with a white wine butter sauce. The wine list that has been built over the years has so many fantastic wines to select from, it is hard to order just one bottle. Service is always spot on, professional and never overbearing. Parking is plentiful right in front.

Extremely courteous wait staff, very attentive, special mention to Bertrand. Very serene and tasteful ambiance. The Chef cam out to ask about the meal. A jewel of an establishment.
Massimo's was a revelation. A top flight wine list, creative appetizers, and delicious mains. Celebrating my wife's birthday we had Duck & Brie as well as Mushroom Tart. The apps were a little on the small side. The Osso Bucco special over Parmesan risotto was incredible- large portion of melt in your mouth veal. It was all so balanced and well executed. We had several Vietti Lazzarito Barolos - perfect pairing and credit to attention to the wine list. Service from Jennifer and Bertrand was attentive. Massimo was delightful and drops in for a few minutes to check in. All in all a terrific experience.

To start, the service was good. The wait staff were very attentive and nice. And the set up was somewhat cute. Seems like a good quiet spot to bring a family. Which I don't have! So it probably means I won't return. But to end... I think if you took the "Fine Dining" label away, and reduced the prices, it would be just another okay restaurant. The food wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. I wouldn't classify this place as "Fine Dining". The main dining area also smelled of toilets. Not something you want to smell while having a meal.

MASSIMO'S is a 5-STAR dining experience hidden away in an unassuming plaza off U.S. Hwy 19 in Palm Harbor. The entrees menu has something for everyone; pastas, seafood (sushi-grade tuna, lobster), fresh fish, filet mignon, poultry (duck, chicken), pork chops, veal, even elk! The incredibly extensive wine list covers all categories from affordable popular brands like Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio to 100-point vintages, of which there are many. Chef Massimo Patano prepares every dish yet finds time to pop out of his kitchen to greet diners. He was at one time the personal chef of Italian goddess Sophia Loren... enough said. The restaurant is casual but the experience is a black tie affair.
