Our first time coming was tonight and it was AMAZING. A great sign was that it was at full capacity so I would recommend a reservation, but we waited very briefly (20 min) and were seated. The calamari appetizer was beyond perfect, with a full and well complemented wine selection. The marinara and carbonara sauce are made from scratch, like an authentic Italian restaurant should. Really well priced with great portions. The staff is so polite and attentive, atmosphere reminds me of an upscale Brooklyn spot. By far the best Italian food I have had in Miami and we will be absolutely going back. Compliments to the staff, especially the chef. One of South Florida’s hidden gems!!

The food was not the best and they charge for everything! We wanted more bread because we were 5 people and only gave us 4 they charged extra, for the marsala plate we wanted angel pasta instead of regular pasta another charge! So be aware any request will be a charge!

My wife and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at while living in Miami. Do yourself a favor and go to this place and bring your appetite.

If I can give more than five stars I would totally do so. This is the first official Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to and let me tell you from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, everything was so perfect. Very professional staff, and our waiter, very sweet and amazing person! The food was very exquisite, even the wine and desert as well ! Highly highly recommend this place. Forget all those bad reviews you see on here ! This is a very family friendly nice quiet dining restaurant that I will definitely be coming back to !! Thank you so much to the owners and staff for eveything ! You all are amazing !

My husband and I visited Alaine’s for dinner on a quiet weeknight, hoping for a nice local meal. We each ordered a glass of red wine; he had the chicken parmesan, and I chose the filet mignon from the specials, which came with a side of vegetables. I requested my filet cooked medium, but unfortunately, it arrived extremely well done—tough, dry, and difficult to chew.
When I politely asked for it to be remade, the server suggested a quicker option: a pasta dish, to avoid a long wait. I appreciated the gesture and agreed. However, what happened next was incredibly disappointing. As the server went to remove my plate, I asked if I could at least keep the vegetables to nibble on while my husband ate his meal. He responded, “If you keep the vegetables, I’ll have to charge you for the full filet dish.”
I was honestly stunned. The vegetables were part of a meal that had to be returned due to a kitchen error—not my own. Denying a guest even a small portion of food in a situation like this, and threatening to charge full price for it, is a level of rigidity and poor hospitality I’ve rarely encountered. I let them take the plate.
The replacement pasta dish arrived about 15 minutes later—after my husband had already finished eating. I ended up taking it to go. The entire experience left a very bad taste in my mouth.
As a neighbor who lives just five minutes away, I was really hoping this would become a go-to spot for us. Sadly, due to the lack of basic customer care, I don’t see myself returning. Mistakes in the kitchen can happen—that’s understandable. But how a restaurant handles those moments speaks volumes, and in this case, the response was incredibly disappointing.

Dining at Alaine’s Osteria was a wonderful experience! The staff was warm, welcoming, and entertaining, making the evening even more enjoyable. The ambiance was intimate and cozy, reminding me so much of my trip to Italy—authentic and charming.
We tried their pasta specials, and each one was absolutely delicious. I also had the chance to try the duck liver with foie gras (my first time!), and it was a rich, flavorful surprise. Their tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal—light, creamy, and satisfying.
Make sure to reserve in advance, as the place is quite intimate and popular. Highly recommend for a romantic night out or special occasion!

We had our faculty and staff end-of-the-year party catered by Alaine‘s Osteria. Jeilyn answered my questions by phone, emails were responded too quickly. We ordered Caesar salad lasagna, Fiocchi, tiramisu and Limoncello cake. On the day of, I was greeted by Jeilyn and her father, the chef, bringing the entire order to my car. Our teachers and staff were excited for what was being served. It was by far the best choice for our special gathering. Two large trays of each item was plenty for 60 people to enjoy. It came with bread, exquisite dressings, and grated cheese. All of us would highly recommend this place and the options we selected. It will never disappoint.
We were highly recommended to try this place. Upon arrive at 5:30pm we walked in with no reservation. We understand how the reservation system works we were told it’ll be 30+ minute wait, however, there were multiple open tables that were being saved for 7pm reservation. We sat at the bar then realized that we would prefer to wait for the table. My husband went to tell the hostess and she was extremely rude and huffing and puffing like this was an inconvenience to her that we changed our mind 1 minute later. She made us feel like a burden and was not welcoming and kind at all we walked out and we will never come back here.

My husband and I love dining here for the food and extremely friendly service. Reservations are a must if you'll be having a late dinner because they get very busy. If you didn't make reservations, you can sit at the bar. The food is delicious, and a large selection of wines to choose from. The wait staff is super friendly, and we are made to feel welcomed.
