If you have never been here you are making a mistake. This is a must go to place to eat some great seafood and some dam good gator. Staff were very knowledgeable about the food and were very attentive to our table. You will definitly need to have some mildly deep pockets but worth every dollar. We ordered the seafood for 2 which was even more than we could eat,I also had gator that was cooked fresh and to perfection.

This place was ok but not my favorite, felt rushed to eat dinner and still eating dinner when asked for dessert. The food wasn't hot it was warm/cold. The food seemed liked it was cooked way before hand.Food: 3/5

Wonderful place, so glad I found it. I had actually already eaten dinner tonight, but not sure when I would be back and wanted to give them a try. I had some of the best Gumbo I've ever had, and the Paradise Shrimp appetizer, large, plump, tender shrimp in a delightful sauce, gravy, roux? I'm not sure what it was, but it was brown and peppery and lemony and oh so good! Plus they gave me some crusty bread, and no one had to tell me what do with that! Johnny took very good care of me, and the wonderful people all around me. He managed all us well, and I never felt neglected. I made a few new friends at the nearby tables, including a farmer and his wife from North Dakota. They were absolutely the nicest folks I've met in a long time, and I felt like family by the time I left. I met the owner and a delightful hostess outside before they opened, and they were so very kind to me. Please do stop by and give these folks a try, the menu is huge, I'm sure they have your favorite seafood, as well as steaks, chicken, etc for the landlubbers! Trying new places, being really kind and generous, and living my very best life. Won't You Join Me?

Staff was wonderful, great atmosphere. The food was good .I will say the soft shell crab was a bit overcooked as well. The shrimp was a bit tough. Blue crab dip was wonderful (although the chips were only thing for 2).fish and scallops were on point.great beer, wine liquor selections. Lastly, it is very pricey for what you get. Just be forewarned .

It has been three years since my husband and I visited the Destin area. We remembered the food was good at Bayou Bill’’s and drove to Panama City Beach. The blue crab dip has been a favorite and did not disappoint. Both meals - grilled shrimp and scallops and grilled grouper were very good. Nice portions and the service was great.

Pricy little spot with better than average food with one exception - the Key Lime pie. It was a HUGE disappointment, basically a cool whip pie with a little lime juice mixed in. They need to stop calling their concoction Key Lime pie or at least warn diners that it’s nothing like a Key Lime pie. For this reason alone, I doubt I would ever return.

I had fried soft shell crab and I have never had one fried so hard as this one was. Others in our party were mildly pleased with the food. Was disappointed tonight with the quality. We were early first customers.

The restaurant is lovely. The food and server is very good. Yes, there are live alligators in a pond in front of the restaurant - it is well fenced in.

If you're in the area and can visit this restaurant I definitely recommend it. We did go a little bit overboard on the ordering but we were on vacation and did not care too much on how much we were going to spend. We ordered a seafood platter for two which was $230 as well as some appetizers and drinks. Our total was about $280 and I did leave a sizable tip for a total of $350 or so. They would definitely budget-friendly options on the menu so don't let what I spend scare you away from this place. It does not open until 5:00 p.m. and when we arrived at 4:30 they were already people waiting out front to get in. I overheard some of them talking that this was not their first time there and the place was definitely worth the wait and had amazing food. After eating there I definitely agree and hope to be able to return someday. Our waitress was very very friendly and helpful and definitely deserved the sizable tip that we left. I did see other menu items being delivered to tables around us and everything looked very delicious.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a great meal. The tuna, grouper, shrimp, and scallops were cooked perfectly. Our server, David, was informative, fun, and personable.

Bayou Bill’s was delicious! We ordered the Crab Feast for 2. Our meal was wonderful and our waiter was even better. David is the BEST! Can’t wait to dine here again.

Best crab on the beach! Incredible staff! Always go back to this one! A family favorite

Food was not very good and highly overpriced. I have no problem paying high prices for quality. Grouper sandwich was basically breading encased in bread.

It was fun to see alligators and hold one. Food was typical fish camp food. They were out of alligator bites and that was what my daughter wanted

This is by far our favorite spot on the beach. Been living here for 30 + years. The grilled oysters are fabulous.... the staff is always spot on...but....adding Mr. Mathew Washington as a Sushi Chef was the best thing that could happen. His talent and precision on his presentation is 5 star. Worth the wait. Thank you Bayou Bill's for stepping it up a notch with Mathew....
