CHARGED FOR OUR INCONVENIENCE. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My family and I were seated pretty quickly around 7:30. We placed our drink and appetizer orders promptly afterwards. After placing our food orders (2 entrees to share between the 3 of us), we sat patiently for 25 minutes. Our waiter came back saying that our order got placed behind a larger party and that’s why it was taking so long. By 8:35-8:40 our patience was wearing thin. We had been accommodating and understanding, but decided to just cancel our order and leave. We let the waiter know and CONTINUED TO WAIT for him to address our bill. By this point we had been seated for over an hour and when the manager came over to address us, she was completely unapologetic. She even insinuated that we had only been waiting for our food for only 30 minutes, even though another party of 4 who had been seated after us had still received their food before us. The least she could have done was APOLOGIZE and compensate us for our drinks and appetizer. Instead we were charged full price for her employees’ mismanagement of time. I know for a fact that the service we received was 0 stars. I cannot even leave a review on the food since it never made it to our table. My family and I were CHARGED for our INCONVENIENCE.

We were a party of 3, arrived at 7:15PM. We ordered drinks and an appetizer that came out at 730, at which time we ordered entrees, waited for over an hour to get our entrees, during which time we watched a table that was seated after us get their meals. After we tried to cancel the order (at 8:50) so we could leave, the manager came out, and tried to pressure us into accepting the meal. Appetizer and drinks were good. The service is horrendous.

We were really excited to celebrate a birthday here after seeing all the rave reviews. The food that came out of the kitchen was an absolute mess. One person ordered gumbo that had a literal sprinkle of rice in it as well as the fact that it was thick as gravy. Another person ordered shrimp and grits. The shrimp was warm but the grits were so cold, she had to ask for more as they had congealed to the plate. One ordered a medium rare steak however the steak that came out was barely even blue; just completely raw. She asked for it to be placed back on the grill and cooked to medium well. It came back super greasy, (not buttery) and cooked medium rare. She gave up on the steak and decided to eat the bread on the table. I ordered the pork chops with bacon jam and was super excited to eat them. The jam itself was so good but I’ve never had a more overcooked piece of meat in my life. You get two medallions. The first I attempted to cut into and subsequently shook the entire table. I cut off a piece and still wanted to try it because the outside of the pork looked so juicy. When I attempted to chew and swallow the piece of meat, I nearly choked. I had to chug water just to get it down. I cut a piece off of the other medallion; it too was too dry to swallow without water. I had someone else at the table try, they spit it out. I returned the pork and asked for a cheeseburger. The waiter, who was great might I add, assured me he ordered the burger medium well. Once the burger came to the table, I cut it down the middle as I was going to only eat half since the rest of my party was done eating. It literally bled into the fries and turned them red. I’m not sure who was in the kitchen this day, but their cook times were terribly off. Also, we were hoping the manager would come by and speak to us as we had to return a total of 5 dishes however he never did. Again, the waiter we had was great but overall, the food left much to be desired. Oh the okra was good though.

Attended a large family event here, and they handled it well. The fried grouper was tasty and a huge filet. All the sides were good, and our server was super friendly and attentive. Great place for the local flavor.

We were looking for locals place to get a drinks and dinner that wasn't on the beach or I the spring break crowd. C Level hit all the marks, we sat at the bar, great and friendly service from Ben the bartender. The wife a killer Blackberry Mojito and I had a few beers. We got dinner, a loaded burger and shrimp and grits. Both were excellent despite the place filling quickly with guests. It was our type of place and crowd, older and lively. We will definitely put this one in for a return trip.

Went there for the first time overall ok experience. Our server was ok. My only issue there is that although the kitchen is the one that makes your entre, the server knows exactly what you ordered and shoud check the accuracy of your order before bringing your plate to the table. Drinks and appetizers are good but not really impressed with the entrees. Will I visit again..yes but just for appetizers and drinks
