I ordered the Nashville Hot Sandwich, and it was incredible! The flavors were spot-on, and part of the fun was that it’s the kind of meal you can’t enjoy without getting a little messy—just the way it should be. Zoe, as always, was so kind and accommodating, making sure everything was prepared exactly how I wanted. Country Angels never disappoints—thank you for being the best!

I personally didn't care for the food & I have no desire to go back. End with a positive... the waitress did good a job 😊

My black and blue burger was delicious with a mountain of crinkle fries! My husband loved his Cuban sandwich. The atmosphere was comfortable and staff was super friendly. Just the kind of place that I'm sure has a lot of regulars and the waitresses know what they want the minute they walk in depending on what day it is. I love that about the way that this restaurant felt, I don't know that to be true but I'm betting it is!

My parents were visiting from out of town and we decided to grab a late dinner near the house. Country Angels is absolutely amazing! My husband and I have lived here for 5 years and never visited the restaurant before but we will definitely go back! The service was wonderful, not sure who the young lady was that took care of us, the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. My mom and I had the spaghetti and my dad had one of the specials which included black eyed peas, one of his favorites. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Polk City area and looking for a menu that is very diverse and has something for everyone! They have plenty of parking in front of the restaurant as well as businesses nearby that would be an easy walk. It's literally 5 minutes off of I-4 and definitely worth the detour to get a wonderful meal at a reasonable price with amazing service!

The blue eye blond girl that worked on saturday the 7th at night has a real nasty attitude. We came in to order at 8:45 and she acted like she was in a rush. Told me my total before i was even done ordering. When i asked questions she responded in an arrogant tone. I have never had an issue with anyone there beisdes tonight. She definitely gave me a bad taste.

Come hungry because the portions are BIG but that doesn't replace the taste. Food was very good, everyone was happy and full when we left. The calzones are huge. Country steak was delicious. Good portion size of steak to batter. Service was wonderful and very patient with our rowdy crew of boys.

Local long time Polk City cafe, lunch special was great, so was the service.

This evening, my wife and I decided to try a new to us restaurant, Country Angels. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary. This place is located in Polk City and if you don't know it's there you will probably never notice it. I worked in Polk City years ago, and I never knew it was there until this week when my mother told us about it. It was not busy and we were seated immediately. Our server, Anastasia, was very friendly and attentive. We decided to have a half order of onion rings for an appetizer. They were absolutely delicious. The boom boom sauce they serve with them was over the top with amazing flavor, and we both agreed was way better than Outbacks bloomin onion sauce. We both decided to have the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Corn for me and green beans for my wife. She got a roll and I got the garlic bread. Everything was cooked to perfection and very pleasing to the palate. We tried to finish it all, but we just couldn't. We were stuffed. This place is easy to miss, but you definitely should find it because we were thoroughly impressed. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. 10/10 we recommend. We will definitely go back. On a side note, I heard some talk of the for sale sign in the window while we were there. I would hate to see this little gem go away, so I hope that if it is sold the new owners will stick with the winning formula they already have. I think the place just needs a better store front with clearer signage as to what's really going on there.
