Bobby Rubino's Place for Ribs

We have eaten at BR's for years and it is always good. Don't forget to order the onion loaf to go with the ribs. Good service, good food, and reasonably priced. John Elvis

Ribs were good but nothing special. French dip was good but again not outstanding. Potato skins very good. We got the onion load and Zucchini loaf. Weren't what we were expecting. Place is kind of pricey in my opinion. Not sure we will come back

I belong to a group that meets once a month for lunch at this location. The food quality has been on a major downward slope. Almost inedible. Last visit, I ordered a "Bobby Burger" ordered medium rare ....instead I received a HOCKEY PUCK!!! This bad food actually has been consistent but it was a good centralized place for our group to meet. My last visit, I was treated very rudely by our server, Michael. He kept making snide remarks which were uncalled for in any situation. He has no respect and has no business working in the service industry. I worked customer service for over 20 years and believe me, his behavior was definitely cause for dismissal. I tried calling BR corporate to complain and learned that customer service was handled at the same restaurant location. I called to speak with a manager and was left on hold for almost a half hour. This is a disgrace.

We were here in Pompano Beach for a week and read about Bobby Rubinos ribs. We tried the lunch specials mid week. The ribs were moist and so good! The service was excellent and all the staff were so friendly. An added bonus is being able to watch the tropical birds. The building is older and a bit dark but everything else is great. The day before we left we went back and tried the $25 special of 2 dinner racks of ribs. Again- great service and wonderful food.

I heard this location closed but I was wrong. It is definitely open and still the best baby back ribs in South Florida. Their onion loaf cannot be beat. Their ribs are the best in town. I also love the decor and atmosphere which is very nostalgic. Highly recommended as a “must visit” restaurant if you’re in South Florida.

The food, atmosphere the server hostess was WOW! An old school restaurant with ribs to die for, the onion loaf was mouth watering and the place reminded me of what was when people took the time to please without going overboard. Greeted by the hostess Ashley in a professional warm manner Oney was a great server

Great prime rib. The BEST French onion soup i have ever had.

Was hoping for much more... onion loaf was bland (tasted like onion coated with plain flour with no other seasoning), baked potato was small, ribs were overcooked, dry and tough... and they charge extra for steamed broccoli. Maybe they were having a bad night, but I won't be back.

Today my wife and I did a road trip to see our granddaughter in Boca Raton Florida!...After seeing her, we decided to explore more of Florida!.. As part of our journey, we passed through Pompano Florida!...We decided to have dinner in Pompano Florida!...We saw the sign for Bobby Robino's Place for Ribs...We stopped by there and had our rib dinners!..Our server, Miss Celeste, took care of our needs and surprised us with a slice of cake and ice cream since this was my wife's birthday!...We sang the birthday song to my wife. Nice touch Miss Celeste!...Will definitely return when in the area!..Please do not let this phony COVID-19 prevent everyone from supporting local businesses!...Do come out to Bobby Rubino's Place for Ribs for a great time and food!...We did!....

I advise that you don't get takeout. Please check your meal if you choose to not eat in. My order ladt night was very disappointing. Onion roll was very greasy and baked potato was a leftover from the night before. Wasted $60 bucks. I can see why the are closing. Ribs were not good either. Soda was very flat.??

Wait stuff was very nice but rushed. Not happy at all! Ribs where not fully cooked sweet potato was small and burnt. Chicken was chewy. Have always loved this place. Very disappointed. Then ask for hot dog meal for child. NO HOT DOGS THEN GET A FREE DESERT she asked For CHOCOLATE CAKE. THEN CHARGES us 600 for it. Her meal was 6.99 are they kidding me. We question it they were going to take it off. But then took it away from a child and gave her ice cream in dish made them giveMe a take out container owe where on way out the door Ridiculous!!

Been going here for 20+ years great food, service, staff. . Friendly family owned... free birthday diners the month of your birthday... love this place!!!!

Exellent atmosphere and ambiance. Friendly staff. Large portions. Food was fantastic and cost was low. Great value.

This has got to be the best deal in Pompano. Although they aren’t the smoked BBQ ribs I am used to in Oklahoma, they had a good taste. All 5 of us got two rib deals between the 5 of us (4 total racks of ribs). We had to struggle to get through it all (2/5 people were kids). Had live music playing in the bar area. The entire place is big and old school. Really awesome. Heard a rumor this place might be replaced by a Raising Cains. That’s pretty depressing and sad to hear. Hope it isn’t true.
