The waitress Joy was really nice! The restaurant was clean and just the way I remember it from when I was a kid. We just moved to Florida and I'm thrilled to be by the best hamburger and shake place around. Windows and glass dividers are very dirty. We even brought trash in from outside. I hate giving horrible reviews, but it was a horrible experience. First off kids are off this whole week for the Thanksgiving holiday. Showed up for a late night meal. There was 1 waiter for the entire sit down section. He was obviously overwhelmed. Asked for a refill on my coffee and finally gave up. Ordeed a salad instead of fries (I know a salad at steak and shake, but I'm fat and on a diet) and waited for a half hour until I finally went up to the register to ask and the young...read full review
Good burger and fries joint if you don't mind super slow, inattentive and unfriendly service!! Went Sunday afternoon, moderate crowd, but, the cooks (3) were very overwhelmed! Our server, Lincoln, spent a great deal of time perched against a wall daydreaming. Next time, I will bring a book and do drive thru!
