We stopped here for lunch as we walked safety harbor-- it's a great place to eat! There were a TON of menu chocies. I had the turkey club and it was both quick and delicious. Very good lunch spot.

Do yourself a bug favor and skip the corporate coffee shop next door. Go to Athens. The coffee is fresh, your cup is bottomless. The food is spectacular! Very fresh, perfectly prepared to order in a kitchen, not a microwave. A 5 egg white veggie omelet with toast, fresh, not frozen home fries, and a beautiful cup of fresh fruit will set you back only about 12 bucks. The service was wonderful, too. A+ experience!
Vegetarian options: Veggie omelet was chock full of a wide variety of veggies, including spinach and fresh broccoli. So good!!! Fresh fruit medley was perfectly ripe, sweet fruit without added sugar. Greek salad is authentic, and always a great veggie option. Fresh spanakopitas are available.

This place has no interest in serving families with children. I have two small children and went in this morning to have breakfast. The waitress was so rude when she said that our stroller was in the way and she did it such a snide way walking away from our table. We even had surveyed the restaurant when we went in as to find the area with the most room. To have the waitress be that rude about us and how we transport our kids is a terrible way to act or even talk to a customer. I will never go back to that kind of bigoted and disrespectful towards families with children! I would suggest that no family with kids ever visit this restaurant. I am disgusted that people can even think acting like that is ever going to be tolerated!

I had read several good reviews and decided to try it myself for bkfst on Sunday. I sat outside so dog friendly! I had a 2 egg croissant sandwich with cheese and 2 sausage patties $9 along with some home fries delicious and very filling. I’ve already had a small Greek salad there another time that was also great.

Order two Chicken Souvlaki sandwiches. Where was was chicken? Paid $25 for pita bread, tomato, lettuce, and sauce. Hardly any chicken. When I picked it up, staff was rude. Long time customers that are not coming back.

Great little restaurant. Good food, and has a mom and pop place feeling, though not sure if it is just a chain or not.

Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed with the crowd of patrons. Maybe hire another person? I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. It was delicious but a little too much pepper. I'd rather add my own, than to have it served with that much on it. My husband enjoyed his omelette. It was a cool little restaurant as far as appearance.

I ate here is December. I wanted to eat Breakfast somewhere other than my resort. It was just a short walk away. My waitress was very friendly and efficient in getting my breakfast to me quickly. I had over easy eggs with Corn beef hash, fresh fruit cup and toast. With a refreshing glass of orange juice. Everything tasted great. I sat by the window so I could have a view outside. I highly recommend.

Wonderful Greek food and luncheon fare. Staff is friendly, courteous, and the service excellent. Prices very reasonable and portions are generous. Highly recommend the Athens. Parking is accessible and a short walk to the Safety Harbor beach park.
Kid-friendliness: Children are welcomed.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from sidewalk.
