We lived everything and our server was fantastic. Very friendly atmosphere and more food than we could eat. It was nice sitting along the river.Food: 5/5

I usually give the benefit of the doubt. I have never given a 1 rating. This place was bad. Seafood gumbo was cold, they reheated and it was fine but there was no seafood in it. Garlic bread-cold. Grouper served on the salad was luke warm. I had to go find the server to get my dressing. No salt and pepper on the table and the server disappeared for lengthy periods of time so I couldn't ask for any. So I had none of the salad, just cold grouper (which is extra) and some seafood chowder without seafood. Server never asked if our meal was ok, never offered anything but a passing sort about that when we told her the meal was bad. The beer was good and that was it. Don't go there.

This place looks like a super hole in the wall when you drive-by. Do not let it's unassuming front fool you. We have lived down here for two years and never tried it until today. This place had large portions I thought $21 for a shrimp platter might be a lot but it was so worth it. I had 12 or 14 super large shrimp that were seasoned very well in their breading, in fact, I didn't even need any dipping sauce. The kids had huge portions as well for the kids meals. The servers were super friendly, and it was filled with locals. If you're looking for a non-touristy place to go, this is it. They have live music Friday, and Saturday nights from seven until late and Sunday afternoons. I think, starting at four. I can't believe it took us so long to try this place. We will definitely be going back.

Love love love the vibes at this restaurant! The staff is always friendly and the food always delicious! I ordered the “Famous Blackened Grouper Sandwich”, with a side salad and fried pickle spears as our app (not pictured). He ordered the fried grouper basket with potato salad and coleslaw. Both of our grouper were flaky, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We love coming here and we always make sure to bring the family here whenever they come in from out of town! Signs warn you that if it is busy, there will be a long wait for food but just drink a beer or 2 while waiting and you’ll be just fine ?

I love space, very good location. The food is average at best. prices a bit high for what you get. Service was generally good with glaring exception of an extremely long wait for wings. This when restaurant had maybe 6 tables occupied. would go back again

If I could this place would get a zero!!! AWFUL!!!! Service and food was the WORST!!!! Party of 12. Orders were completely screwed up...sent them back to the kitchen manager refused to accept the food back. Some people didn't even get to eat!!! Drinks never arrived. Seriously, will never return... Can't say enough bad things about this place. Bar table came over to the table an yelled at us because we questioned the alcohol in the drinks because the drinks were VERY weak. This place was just GOD AWFUL!!!

Tony and I made it to St Mark's, FL today at 12:30 and stopped at Riverside Cafe for lunch. We sat at the tables lining the decking walls. It was very lovely, warm with a breeze and watching boats go by. The birds were watching us waiting for someone anyone to drop something.Tony had a draft beer, I went with Iced Tea half/half w Lemon and Lime. We opted for the Crab Fritters with a chipotle mayo dipping sauce and the River Burger with fries. The food we shared and it was very good!Waitress told us about live music on Friday and Saturday nights.Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!!

We had company in town who were interested in visiting Cooter Stews. We drove out to find Cooter's closed, so went to Riverside. We had never been and now live in Wakulla, so along with wanting our company to have a great experience, we were hoping to find a great restaurant to frequent (safe to say that will NOT be the case). There are signs every where saying when the restaurant is packed full, it can be an hour to an hour half wait. There was only 2 other tables seated when we sat, far from being packed, much less even busy. We were a table of 6. 2 of us ordered blackened grouper sandwiches, 2 ordered fried grouper baskets, 1 ordered a chicken sandwich, and 1 ordered the black and bleu burger. We also ordered fried pickles for an appetizers. The only redeeming quality of this entire experience was our waitress. She knew our order was taking far too long and kept apologizing and promising she was trying to get it done as quick as she could. She gave us the analogy of "our restaurant is the size of horse fly but our kitchen is the size of a gnat". However, she also conceded that they weren't even busy so there really no reason for the wait. I asked if we could at least get the appetizer. She said it had been started and should be right up. Our food finally came. Every single item on our table was so cold, it was hardly edible. No body had even Luke Warm food. Such a shame to wait for so long, only to be served cold food. The fried grouper was very chewy, to the point that neither could eat those dishes at all. I asked her if it was cooked frozen and she said it was supposed to be thawed first, but to behonest the Kitchen "has been really sucking lately" and she wouldn't be surprised if they didn't thaw it first. Our appetizer was not delivered before or even with the food, although we had asked about it. I asked the food runner, and she simply replied 'I don't know, do you want it?" Our server apologized again when she brought the check, and said "I'm sure we'll never see you again, and I don't blame you, but if you do come back I hope I get to serve you". She was right, I wont be back and I hope she is able to find another job because she deserves better.

On a slow Monday evening we visited expecting a good meal. Terrible service, food took alot longer than expected to come out, missing bartender for long periods cost them a few extra drinks not purchased. Calimari was the worst I have ever eaten. Over fried, dry, disgusting. Mediocre grouper sandwich. A terrible place to eat, do not bother going here folks!

This place has amazing river view! If you live nearby, you should definitely eat&drink here by watching the sunset at least one time! There was also a live music, but I prefer sitting outside and chat with my friends. Meals were tasty, I ordered Blackened Fish Sandwich and loved it.

Food was very good. My wife got the grouper sandwich. It was delicious. I got the fried oysters they were awesome! We started out with some fried pickles. Absolutely recommend those. They were awesome. The reason it's not five stars is the portions were a little small and the there was too many birds flying around in there. But the service was very good and friendly. Highly recommend not that there's a whole lot of choices around that area anyway

Went for lunch. Really really fresh shrimp. Very open atmosphere. Wife had the club sandwich that she loved. The birds inside the place, fish and gators in the water kept the kids entertained. Drinks stayed full and service was on point ( a little slow due to under staffed) but all in all really good experience.
