I was a frequent visitor of Rubio's in Tampa but had not visited the St Pete location until this week. Enjoyed my bowl with shrimp. My partners salmon smelled very fishy, not fresh.
Post-soccer game lunch on a Sunday. There was no wait. We got the gourmet shrimp tacos and the coastal trio. Everything was delicious! The gourmet shrimp tacos should have a fan club. The manager was super friendly. Can’t wait to bring our team back to this area so we can hit up Rubios again.

So, the fish tacos are good... Wish there was more fish in them though, especially for the price. Plenty of good, legit taco joints around these days. So, you really need to be on point. $14 for a couple tacos, drink, and chips is steep. Especially if you leave hungry. The drink selection is weak unless you love sugar. Staff is friendly and service was good. That's always a plus.
