Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill

2 of us went for lunch October 2025 and I thought it was awesome. I don't eat out much these days because the prices in our area are disturbingly high for tourist crap food. I've lived in the area 45 years so I've been around the block a few times and generally know what I'm getting into at restaurants. I tried to wiggle out of the invite to go but glad I didn't. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The prices were better than expected. I initially will judge a place by their burgers and I was thoroughly impressed - 1/2 lb cooked to perfection, big fluffy bun, generous bacon. Crinkle Fries were awesome and cooked golden brown. I asked for heavy pickles bc I'm a junky and they brought out a tiny cup with loads of pickles. It's the little things... We also tried their Fried Triggerfish which was a large portion with excellent crispy breading and a unique dipping sauce. Cheapest beers in the area! We had a meal left for to-go boxes which rarely happens in my world bc I like to eat. We had the Yorkie dog and they let us bring her out on the back deck - which was awesome. Not sure how this place is in the tourist season but it's my new favorite locals spot for the other months. Don't change a thing and thanks for keeping the prices reasonable for us local pofolks! I'm hoping to go later today for a repeat.

Had an amazing experience, Charlie the bartender was phenomenal!! Being a local it’s hard finding people who actually like their job around here. He had amazing customer service and was a cool dude!! Will definitely be back

This is my favorite place to go. They are always on top of things. The best food and the best service.
No one can beat their Gumbo! It's number one on 30A .
Everyone needs to come one tome and then you will return again and again.

A great place to eat. Pretty affordable. The space is kinda tight when you first go in, but all were friendly and the food was great! Pretty quick service even though they were quite busy.

First time here and we really enjoyed ourselves! We had a few of their house special drinks and we had plenty to choose from the Happy Hour specials from 3-6PM. Bloody Mary's, Grayton Beach Mojito, Hurricane, Margarita's, Frozen Miami VIce, just to name a few. Then we moved on to their oysters...we had six different orders -Grilled with Garlic Butter and Parmesan Cheese - Crawfish Tails, Cream Cheese & Cajun Spice - St Jack w/Pepper Jack, Green Onions Gulf Shrimp, Sherry Cream & Bacon - Rockefeller w/Pernod, Spinach, Shallots & Cream - Jalapeno w/ Bacon & Cheddar & Just a plain Baked! Almost forgot, we got a huge platter of Fried Blue Crab Claws! Fish of the day was Trigger. My wife and I got it! She got a basket with fries and hushpuppies. I got the platter with fried oysters, fried shrimp, fries & hushpuppies. This place will give you your money's worth on everything! Huge servings and the price is very reasonable, except on the oysters - but they are expensive everywhere! We finished up with an oyster shooter! Go here and give it a try - you WILL NOT regret it! Our tab was high per person because we had many drinks and apps! We'll be back next time we are in town! Thanks for a really good time! Almost forgot to give a shout out to Andrew...thanks for putting up with us and the great service!

Our first visit and me and my mom both loved the food a lot and the service was phenomenal!!! We ordered so much and didn’t expect to be a lot than we expected loll so we got full real quick. All the dishes were very flavorful and the Lobster Tacos are a must!!!!! This is definitely a 10/10 from us and big thanks to Wendy, she was very sweet and accommodating 💗💗💗
