Good shrimp, oysters, and slaw! You can get a quick snack. You can get a Lobster Roll for 30 bucks. Special is a Protein, side, and drink for 20!

My wife and I got the cold peel and eat shrimp, and the grilled grouper sandwich and slaw to split. Plenty of food for the two of us. The peel and eats were good. They had saltine cracked which is a must for me with peel and eats. The grilled grouper sandwich was also good. The slaw we didn't care much for. We like our slaw chopped up more with more mayonnaise and sweeter. Did it hurt out meal. Absolutely not. We finished off with key lime pie and that was ok as well. There is plenty of outside seating. Probably could get crowded during the busy season but today it was cool in the 50's so there was plenty of seats.

Adequate but pricey food. Central but boring location. Oysters were good and the lobster grilled cheese was good! Skip the tacos.

Mostly roll, not much lobster, and what was on there didn't taste like much..... If you think this place serves a good lobster roll you've clearly never had a good one. It wasn't worthy of a picture but I wish I would have taken one to post with this review because it was definitely a rip off.

A shrimp salad roll at the Shrimp Shack is one of my favorite meals on earth! Although I find Seaside overly crowded most of the year, I cannot stop myself from going here, as the food overrides the lack of parking or the business. The shrimp salad is perfectly salty and the bun is soft and pillowy. I usually pair it with a frozen lemonade after a long day at the beach, it just can't be beat! The service is fast, and the beach atmosphere is charming!

Food was just ok. Shrimp and fish tacos were over priced and not very flavorful. You even pay for the tap water. Very disappointing place.

Shrimp shack is okay. We stumbled upon the restaurant while strolling through Seaside. We ordered the grouper sandwich and peel and eat shrimps. The food came out relatively quickly, and was just "okay", nothing special (not worth the price in my opinion). The best part of the restaurant was the views of the beach if you sit outside.

I ordered the lobster roll online for a dinner pickup. I arrived early, parking wasn't terrible. My food came out almost right on time (if not on time). They were not busy at 6:00p.m. I ordered water and white wine and took my food to the beach lookout. I saw a comment or two about the bread not being soft but mine was really soft. Similar to a less garlicky Texas toast bread. It came with a side of butter and I got a side of chips. It was really filling though some of it might be the bread. For $42 (lobster roll only) I thought it to be a little expensive considering full entree meals run you that other places but it was an experience, somewhere new, hadn't had a lobster roll before, and it was good so I'm not too mad at the price. I enjoyed my wine, my lobster and my view. I'd definitely go back and try other menu items.
I see all these great reviews for the lobster rolls. That was not our experience. We ordered a lobster roll to share about mid afternoon. Very expensive. It was the most nothing lobster roll I’ve ever seen. I think there was about four bites total of lobster in it. It didn’t come up over the edges like you usually see on a good lobster roll. It didn’t even come up to the edge. Just about four bites. The guy in the shack acted like he would rather be anywhere else than there. I knew when I saw it that my hubby wasn’t going to be happy, with what we paid for it. He wasn’t. Don’t believe the hype!

Husband and I had the grouper sandwich and lobster roll with slaw. We loved this! The slaw was simple, but with a horseradish Vite that perfectly complemented the blackened grouper. Will definitely eat here again the next time we are in the area!

I have eaten here 2 summers in a row if that says anything. This is a walk up counter in Seaside where all the other food shacks and shopping is located. You order, pay, find seating outside and when your food is ready they call out your name & come find you. I loved the very pricey Lobster roll both summers and this year I ate the best lobster Mac & cheese ever! Great key lime pie too… Yes it is expensive - but it is vacation at Seaside. ?♀️I’ll be back !

Amazing lobster rolls and lobster mac and cheese. We always get those and some royal reds if they're in season. They also have the best oysters in town. Highly recommend
