I don't know or care whether it's "authentic," but I do know and care that the food is good. We had a Cubano, a croqueta preparada, and the ropa veija, and all were very good and excellent values. Easy to get to, if a bit off the beaten path. We'll be back.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for something new and loved it. My wife is Cuban and I lived in Miami for 15 years so we have both been exposed to a lot of very good Cuban food. The food here is authentic Cuban cuisine which we did not expect in Sarasota. We tried the croquettas first and I have to say they were the best I've ever eaten. I had the palomilla steak with black beans and rice and plantains. My wife had the pork chunks with yuca and rice. For dessert we had the flan. Everything was exceptional. We will definitely put this place on our dining rotation when we're in Sarasota.

This was one of the worse chicken dinners EVER....horrible example of Cuban food....tasteless.....yuck

We had a pulled beef in tomato sauce and salmon. The beef tastes very authentic （ at least very similar to the ones I had in Miami). The salmon was a nightmare, it was very acidic I was even thinking if it was not fresh, maybe they add too much lemon on it, like A LOT. The service was not good, bc of the sourness I had to drink a lot of water and the waitress did not even bother to refill the water, even when she saw the empty bottle when she gave me the check, like she did not give a dam.

Fantastic, affordable food. Friendly staff. It's never busy probably because of its location in a small strip mall. It is very clean and nice on tHe inside. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing Cuban food in a wonderful atmosphere with great service! The stuffed plantains are something I've never had before and totally loved them. Everything was excellent and I look forward to returning soon.
