Besides the beautiful beach, one of the reasons why we keep returning to Siesta Key is for this Gluten Free Bakery. My husband has gluten, dairy, and a bunch of other allergies so finding someplace that can allow him to enjoy the delicious taste of food is a gift. He comes for the bread, yet he's also gotten the pizza crust and other baked items, cupcakes, etc. Many of the products have dairy so he can't have them but there are vegan products too. We stopped by today and probably because of the holidays, we didn't see as much as we normally do. We did just arrive in town late last night so pies, cakes, etc would have been cleared out. Anyway, he was glad to get his loaf of bread. Side note: this place seems to have multiple names but it's the same, delicious one:. Stellar Gluten Free or Island Gluten Free Bakery.

MUST GO IF IN THE AREA. I had the carrot cake and it was wonderful !!! We all know good gf desserts are difficult to find. The staff was SO kind and knowledgeable. The only unfortunate part was the fact that this business isn't doing well. I have NO IDEA WHY BECAUSE ITS AMAZING. Please support small local business if you can, such a fun and safe spot for celiacs and gluten allergies!!

This is the best gluten free bakery I have ever gone to. The ingredients they use are high quality. The owners are very helpful in explaining everything. I live in NY and nothing back home compares to their bread and baked goods. Great job Island Gluten Free Bakery!!

Best spot in Sarasota for gluten free folks! Love love love their cinnamon rolls, pies, and cakes. There is a special treat here for you. The ladies who run this place are dedicated to creating and sharing amazing food for you. They also supply local restaurants with their gf bread. Check them out you will be so pleased you did!
Incredible food. I split the Cinnamon Roll, Quiche, and a Turkey Sub with my girlfriend. My girlfriend isn't even GF/Celiac and she said it was incredible. I totally agree! The owner spoke with us for about 30 minutes and was incredibly nice as well as gave us recommendations for nearby GF spots. Highly recommend!

Really surprised with all the 5 star reviews of this place. I saw on the packaging that they've been in business since 2006, which is a long time for a gluten free location, but it seems like they must have never updated their recipes over those 13 years. I have celiac and really wanted to like my treats from this bakery, but they honestly tasted like when you take a "regular" recipe, try subbing gluten free flour, and it turns out with the taste slightly off and the texture all wrong. The brownie was fine but mediocre, the cookies were kinda dry, and the cake was somehow super dry but mushy at the same time. Just not good. I've been to other bakeries and know that gf/df or even gf/vegan can be done so much better!

Our two boys have Celiacs and of all the gf food we've had, this is THE BEST! This place is immaculately clean and the ladies who work here are always friendly and welcoming.
