I just visited this place a few days ago… I didn’t even know it was there, and I’ve lived here for 40 some years… There were six of us and everybody loved everything… I had the huevos rancheros it was the best I’ve ever had… Everyone else also raved about their food… I’ll be back.

My husband and I hardly go out to eat, I enjoy cooking myself and take pride in my food. We decided to give lovely square a try. Let me tell you. It was AMAZING. I had the lox egg benedict. The flavors were spot on. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Chef knows what he's doing. Thank you for such an amazing meal! I wish I had gotten a photo of my food before devouring it. Also, my husband had gotten the bacon cheese burger. He said seasoning was perfect. I'm super happy we decided to give them a try!! Also, our waitress was so pleasant and prompt. We had just a really nice brunch.

Extensive and very interesting menu! Elegant presentation, and best almond croissants on the planet! Didn’t order the pancakes, but they are so thick and fluffy. They look like they poured into a mold. Poached eggs I had were done perfectly, beans as a side dish for breakfast or outstanding! Side salad-garnish, included a drizzle of balsamic vinegar which actually made it inviting and not just a final touch.

This business has undergone a recent renovation, I was told. It was clean, but was stark and bland in atmosphere. Their menu has healthy ingredients in many of their dishes. Their food and service though was as bland as the atmosphere and restaurant appearance.The banana nut pancakes, although thick and fluffy, the pancake batter itself was tasteless. There were a few banana slices (5 thin slices) and walnuts sprinkled on top and in each pancake (maybe 3-4 in each). For the breakfast omelettes averaging $14.00, they’re relatively skimpy in portion size with only 2-eggs, and only 1 slice or toast per dish - nothing else.Our server was pleasant, but ineffective. Many dishes ordered were incorrect when delivered, or missing accompanying sides. Some sides never arrived even after noting the missing items to the waitress.If you like fresh, healthy ingredients, fresh and natural baked breads and breakfast pastry, right size portions, the best oatmeal and fresh pressed veggie and fruit juices, I suggest frequenting Simons Coffee House on South Tamiami Trail, a very short drive from Lovely Square restaurant.

The breakfast is to die for….he served THE BEST huevos rancheros I’ve ever had. And his soup!!!!! His soup!!!!! No matter the kind, it will be the best thing your taste buds have ever eaten!!!! What a great visit. The food (Breakfast combo) had not only lots of flavour but had effort put into the plating. The service was fast and friendly during our entire visit. The atmosphere has a retro feel but not old. Even the men's room looks recently renovated. Will definitely be back.
