We booked our event for our company's quarterly outing and had an absolute blast! The staff was instructive, attentive, but have us the freedom to relax and enjoy ourselves while we made our own tournament for axe throwing. Lunch was delicious! I highly recommend the burnt ends!

I go to the Iron Axe often…..today we celebrated a friend’s 80th birthday!!! Could not have booked a better venue! Everything perfect…..owner, Don, there and super attentive, as was staff. Food was great….everyone loved it! If you are looking for a great place to celebrate, go see Don at Iron Axe….you will be happy that you did!Vegetarian options: Salads, vegetables, seafood.Parking: Plenty of parking and handicapped accessible.Kid-friendliness: We had several kids ranging in age from 4 months to 2 years.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from parking lot into restaurant/bar.
I would go here just for the customer service. Our server Emily was outstanding!

Came on a very busy Sunday and it was severely understaffed. One bartender and one server from what I could see. I have been a server so I totally get it. I also understand that sometimes it happens when tables who arrived 10 minutes after us may get seen first. After about 25 minutes of not being acknowledged at all, the single server came and thrust menus on the table saying "here are some menus." Then she left and we sat for another 10 ish minutes . No greeting, not even a word. At that point, we had had it . I understand servers getting stressed but that was plain rude... especially when we weren't rude at all or even getting aggravated at how long it was taking to be seen. I'll give 5 stars for the quality of food because it's always very good . That server was not it though.

My wife and I swung into Iron Axe Bar & Grill in South Daytona for an early dinner around 4:00pm. There were a few people sitting around both the outside and inside bar upon our arrival, but no one (hint) was eating in their dining area. The bar tender, hostess, and waitress were all very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating.Despite Iron Axe Bar & Grill's extensive menu, we chose a burnt-ends brisket appetizer, and we both ordered their beef tips over mashed potatoes and gravy for our main meal. The burnt-ends brisket arrived at our table dry and difficult to chew, and all I'll say about our main meal is that the broccoli sidedish stole the show. This establishment looks like it could get a little rowdy as the night wears on if you're looking for that, but as for the food, we won't be back.Darryl & Christy
