My daughter has been living in St Augustine for 3 years. Today I was there helping her to prepare to her move out of state. I've visited a number of times but today on the way back from the Uhaul she suggested we stop for a donut at Fiction Donut. I am in love!!!!! What a culinary delight. I only eat doughnuts from Sugar Rush in Mobile; the big companies taste greasy and waxy and too sweet. I decided to make an exception and try one of these. My daughter loves this donut shop! We tend to visit every other weekend for a nice little family date. They usually have new, unique flavors every time we stop by. They make various gluten free donuts to accommodate a wide variety of customers. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always very friendly! The donuts are delicious - I have to recommend the espresso donut as a personal favorite.

Best donuts in St. Augustine! Go out of your way to get these if you want delicious donuts. Yeast donuts have the perfect billowy texture and don't taste over fried. Cake donuts are also nicely done and not overly dense. Our big family tried 12 different flavors and split them up so we could sample multiple. We were really excited to find this gem!
