Had a great time at Avra, Sunny Isles Beach Florida.

The waitress was knowledgeable and did not rush anything.

We had Greek Salad, Tuna Tartar, Beet Salad, Octopus, Ceviche, Cheese Saganaki for appetizers.

For main course we had Branzino for two, Salmon, Branzino Fillet then of course paired it with great sides such as Asparagus, Lemon Potatoes and Gigantes.
We also had desserts at the end and they were light and delicious (Ekmek, Orange Cake, Greek Yoghurt)

In general the staff was attentive and always there to help.

Great selection of wines and a great Greek food menu.

After finishing the meal we stopped by the bar had some more wine, it was definitely hard to leave the place :)

The atmosphere was amazing. The interior was very beautiful, clean and Mediterranean. Beautiful presentation on the dishes and the displaying of their special fish.

Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. The filet mignon was amazing as well as the fish we ordered. A branzino and a snapper. The sides weren’t the best, the roasted potatoes were a bit dry and had no salt.
The orange cake was so good!
As for the service it was amazing. All of the waiters were very attentive and nice and there was a dj playing some nice music.
Overall the restaurant was pretty nice and beautiful making it a great dining experience.

On May 16, 2025, we had the pleasure of dining at Avra in Miami and would like to express our exceptional experience. Our servers, Gregory and Yiannis, provided us with a memorable and refined dining experience. Their meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence consistently exceed our expectations. They were not only friendly and polite but also genuinely welcoming, ensuring that we felt cared for and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The culinary offerings were equally impressive, as they have consistently delivered exceptional dishes. We will make sure to request Gregory and Yiannis by name during our future visits. First insult was $40 cash, no credit cards, for valet parking to eat at this Restaurant. Next issue was there was no bread! Stale flat hard excuse for bread. How can you have a Greek restaurant with no bread? I ordered a diet Coke and wife ordered Greek white wine. The diet coke was only available from the fountain and the mix was too sweet. The only thing that resembled Diet Cole was it color. I sent it back and ordered a bottle of Greek beer. The $33 Greek salad was good. I ordered the lamb with potatoes and rice. The lamb was very chewy, the potatoes 🥔 sucked and the rice 🍚 was not cooked enough. I sent it back. My wife had tuna tartar appetizer as her main meal. Her wine and tuna were good. The Greek coffee that I ordered Sweet came out with no sugar. If you know anything about how Greek coffee is made it has to have sugar when it's mixed in the ibrik. You can't add sugar after it is made. The dessert cake was also just ok but edible. All in all, if you want overpriced food abuse with great service and very pleasant atmosphere, this place is for you.
