There is not a single negative thing about Bourne Brilliant.... they are super warm and generous and kind, and they remember and recognize me at each visit. During COVID-19, they have been following safety guidelines very well. All of their food that I have tried is DELICIOUS! And, for their take-out, they use compostable containers and bamboo utensils to make it more environmentally-friendly. I love supporting Bourne Brilliant and can’t wait to try more of their products :)

The restaurant is run by three adolescent children so I went in with mild expectation: boy was I wrong to do so. I came on a Saturday for lunch and the family was extremely nice. I ordered the spicy Suya with Jollof (yellow rice) and collards and the BBQ Drumstix also with Jollof and candied yams. I was impressed with the texture and taste of the meat alternatives (Drumstick pictured) and it was a refreshing departure from the typical plant based meats. The baked goods were also a high point and weren't overwhelmingly sweet or flavored. I enjoyed the apple fritter with raisins.Since I came during the pandemic and ordered takeout, I was also very happy to receive compostable packaging and bamboo utensils, with no plastic or styrofoam packaging. All together with reasonable prices, I'm sure I will be coming back.

absolutely amazing food (and the safest/cleanest shop I've seen since COVID started). They supply gloves and hand sanitizer at the door, and only allow a certain number of people in at a time. The food is also amazing and unique. I try to go as often as I can to support this place.
