This place was once a very nice dining experience. It has gone downhill recently. The service was a little slow. The drunks were spewing profanity throughout the dining room, and the food was on the same level as an Asian buffet. 150 dollars for the same quality I could've got for 50. Fairly disappointed.

So my visit was in 2022 on a date with a guy. The vegan food was not the best. Maybe my standards are high but this food was blander than tofu I make at home.

But the veggies were plentiful.
I could see that diners around us enjoyed their non vegan meals, so those may be different.

I will say that the best vegan food places in Tallahassee make the food so delectable you will be coming back for more visits.
Sadly, this, like the one on Tharpe is a one-time only for me. I can't see myself returning and I am no longer vegan.

Vegetarian options: Vegan menu is separate menu. Tofu is nothing to pay for at this location. I would not recommend.

Parking: It can be crowded but has plenty of space.

(Pickup, not dine in)
Spicy basil thai fried rice is 9/10 amazing (it wasn't spicy enough for my liking) but it was exactly what I was expecting! Amazing! Not to mention the portion size!
Pineapple beef tenderloin tips were absolutely delicious and savory. Great balance of garlic and pineapple, with delicious cherry tomatoes! It's like a kabob without the stick.
Prices are kind of higher than average, but honestly, it's worth it. Quality ingredients for sure
10/10 would go again

I'll start with the gluten free comments. Wife has celiac, she loves the Singapore rice noodles and pineapple fried rice options, though they have other options. She doesn't have the worst sensitivity, but it is strong enough to trigger if there is cross contamination from prep or cooking areas. She never has a problem here.

For me, sushi variety is always great, love their fried rice options.

Multiple others we have brought have tried various entrees and noodle dishes and only ever had compliments on the food.

Definitely recommend this restaurant, as it has become our quick takeaway fallback and we eat from here once every couple of weeks.

Dietary restrictions: Wife has celiac, they have a gluten free menu that is strictly adhered to and has never given us problems.

We just celebrated my mom's birthday at Masa. The food was, as always, excellent. The service was beyond outstanding. We had 24 people, all sitting down at the same time. Harley and Sam were super efficient, wonderfully friendly, and perfectly attentive throughout. Masa is my new favorite restaurant in Tallahassee. Thank you for making my mom's birthday unforgettable.

Masa is a Tallahassee staple and brings back fond memories of being romanced by my now husband of 12 years...
We started with coconut soup which was full of curry flavor and hot and sour. This stayed in the lanes and was mildly hot and mildly sour but was chock full of shiitakes tofu bamboo shoots with good flavor and a noticeable shot of sesame oil.

We shared a very generous portion of green curry with tofu. Couldn't finish it between the two of us. But we tried!

We enjoy the outdoor covered seating, the friendly service we get everything, the generous servings, and the pure flavors.

A Lucy Ho classic in her series of successful restaurants.

Vegetarian options: Most of the menu has tofu and vegetable options.

The service was good but I found this place to be way overhyped. The prices were quite high and the quality didn’t follow. I found the food to be of low quality but the presentation of the food was nice. The service was good

Dietary restrictions: They serve sushi so they have pescatarian options available

Parking: They have a large parking lot with plenty of free parking
