Banh Mi House

A small menu with rice/ noodle bowls, banh mi, pho, and usually a couple specials. The banh mi and pho were excellent. The pork banh mi was somewhat sweet and rich. The pickled carrots and radish countered the meat and there was a nice amount of heat from the jalapeño. Three or four tables to sit down at. Very reasonably priced.

This place has some pretty good Banh Mi. I ordered the grilled pork and the steak and onion Banh Mi. The steak and onion Banh Mi is more like a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich (I should have known) and was pretty good overall. The steak was soft and the onions were done correctly. Good place for banh mi and pho. Everything is made fresh to order. The beef pho is good size bowl and pretty good broth, which is the most important part of what makes good pho. The hoi an combo banh mi is a good sandwich,the main thing that makes this different from the Saigon Special is it has an omelette and less pork but compared to the pho it is not as filling. if you're hungry go with a noodle soup bowl.
