This review for BluWave is long overdue. We stumbled upon this place a couple of months ago on a Sunday during happy hour around 6 PM. The dacor was cute with a nice bar area to sit and also watch the sushi being made. They had a TVs so and plenty of seating areas 2 socialize with others and or have a private little dinner with your peeps . On the Sunday that I went they had a DJ " spinning" some 80s and 90s music including R&B and Hip Hop. The crowd was relaxed and really enjoying themselves. BluWave has great happy hour specials. Happy hour is Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. All classic rolls are $4 except the eel rolls. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. I really like the Mexican roll and a gator bite roll. The sake bomb cocktail was delicious. The crab rangoon was just okay. I really enjoyed this sushi place and I will be back.

Little disappointing for few reasons: 1. We came during lunch time on Wednesday and it was only one more couple there. They were blasting air conditioning with wide opened bar windows ! Shame ! 2. Sushi I ordered were not fresh, rice was cold and HARD. I won't have them again here. and 3. I could not get my refill ( should I remind there were only 2 tables with people inside?) So I won't recommend for sushi, I might come back to check their Friday night activities and drink specials. and that's a maybeeee

Great service. Nice restaurant. Not the best sushi in town. It wasn't very fresh to my standard. But the service made up for it. The sushi poppers were delicious. It's nachos topped with sushi avocado slices and spicy mayo drizzled over it. The sakitini sucked. It tasted like cough syrup. The music made it very lively. It's a good spot for a birthday dinner party. They do have teriyaki and other non sushi items on the menu.

I went on a Friday night hardly a person in the place at 8:30-ish p.m. {To be fair, maybe Alot of people were trying to prepare for the impending hurricane that was supposed to be coming to our area}. I asked one of the servers, and she said they are really busy during the week when they have specials on the sushi rolls. I ordered the Twisting Tiger roll and noticed upon check-in that there was a free order of crab Rangoon available, so I ordered that as well. I had the sushi roll made without rice. They were very nice to accommodate. The tuna seemed very fresh. The downfall to the role was it had way too much mayo and eel sauce on top (see pics). It could've done with a lot less, but I just used my chopstick and scraped most of it off. Onto the crab Rangoon... Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of imitation crab. I like the real deal or nothing. The menu politely calls it crab delight.... To me it was not delightful.

The egg rolls are very good. The workers are very friendly. My friend fell off of his scooter and they kindly gave him a first-aid kit to clean himself up.

Food is great, atmosphere is amazing. I love it there... I've gone a few times and only have had good service once. I know they just opened, but definitely need to get some girls on that know what they're doing. One time I've left bc the bartender forgot to put our food in, and we waited over 45 mins and she said oops I threw it away ... so we will never go back if this certain girl is working... on the other hand NIKKI IS GREAT
Found my new Thursday night spot! seriously, the best happy hour deals i've come across. we got so much food at such a reasonable cost and nothing was disappointing. the crab rangoons and avocado salad were super fresh and light! green beans were perfectly fried and really hit the spot. Nicki, our bartender, was super knowledgeable and friendly and you could see her love for the restaurant really shine through. We had such a great experience at BluWave, cant wait to go back!!!

Great spot! Delicious sushi and great service. I was helped by the bartender Jon who was extremely friendly and knowledgable. He made delicious drinks and great conversation! Will definitely be back for more!
