The shepherd's pie was adequate, but not great, with a slice of cheese melted over mashed potatoes that were average, at best and a decent filling.Fish and chips included overcooked cod and both fish and fries had a bitter flavor to them like they were fried in old oil.Took awhile for anyone to acknowledge us and take our order, and aside from bringing our food and drinks we were ignored until we were finished.To the credit of the waiter, he immediately offered to take the bad fish and chips off the bill.

Disappointed, although they have an Irish name an a couple of Irish sounding items on the menu it was "not" an Irish restaurant. It was a typical sports bar, playing hard core gangster rap music and a dozen TVs all on sports channels. It had all the feel of a sports bar an no irish atmosphere at all. All that being said I had one of their irish items and it was good, but it's hard to mess up a Sheppard pie. So, would I come back? Maybe if I was just looking for a place to hang out with coworkers, if you are looking for an authentic experience this is not it. Staff was very friendly and food was good though.

I would have given Irish 31 a 5 star review if it wasn't for the service. The food & drinks were awesome. My husband & I sat @ the bar. The bartender (female) was not friendly from the 1st interaction. We ordered the macho nachos & cocktails. The appetizer was delicious & the drinks were perfect. We were @ Irish 31 around 6:30pm, & sat @ the bar. It was not busy. Not once were we asked if we needed anything. We had to ask for additional drinks. At one point, we asked for glasses of water which we never received. The bartending staff left the bar vacant @ 2 different times & we could have easily walked out without paying. We would have stayed & ordered additional drinks, but were never actually waited on, so we flagged down an employee & asked to pay the bill.

The worst bartenders in all of Tampa! This is probably my 20th time in this place and I’ve never had a good bartender once!! At least it’s consistent! It’s 2:45pm, Friday 12/3. 5 thumbs down as usual!

Irish 31 at Westshore Plaza in Tampa is a good place to go for delicious food and drinks in a cool atmosphere. I really like the location and setup that they have here where you can really sit back and enjoy everything. The staff here is very accommodating and makes sure that you have everything that you need. I have had a good experience every time I have been here.

I had a turkey Reuben sandwich that was delicious! It came with a crispy dill pickle spear & kettle chips. The service was ok.

Sad decline in what used to be a cool place. Came in at about 9:30, place was dead. I asked if they were closed, two employees looked annoyed, then at the clock and said it's last call. I said I thought they closed at 11, they said no, 10:00. They gave me last call at 9:36. On a Saturday. Used to be a great place. Now the employees clearly don't want to be here and the place is dying. I'll miss it, but not the new attitude to customers

Went here today for the first time. Food was very good. Service on the other hand was terrible. Was given drinks by server i said thank you and no response, nothing. Took probably 15 minutes after we sat there to place an order. Servers rarely came by to check on how we are doing. I could understand this if it were crowded; however it was not. Needless to say i will not go back.

Fish and Chips was top notch. I also recieved double the amount of boneless wings which I thought to be on the way. Management was seen throughout the restaurant helping staff at every turn. Pair those things with an old fashioned for a great dining experience.

Asked if the French fries were fresh and not frozen French fries, server told me yes they were fresh, only to find out that they were frozen steak fries, very disappointed, other than that service was good
