If service were top, this easily would have been a 5star review. I called in to place an order for a mixed seafood platter, and had to do some substitutions bc the crab had ran out (it was the end of the day). No biggie, we just ordered extra portions of lobster tails, sausage, mussels and shrimp. We also got corn, cole slaw and hush puppies. On our way to pick up, we got a call saying the shrimp has now run out...??? When asked how, employee explained someone had just ordered...read full review
This place has some of the freshest seafood I've ever had! I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska and didn't have it this fresh. The garlic shrimp is amazing! Even the potatoes in the garlic sauce are divine. It's not a place you'll want to dine in. Call in your order and take it home to enjoy. Why this owner doesn't have his own brick and mortar place is beyond me! Give it a try. Don't be put off from the look of the place. They serve fresh and delicious food, that's all that matters.
They may be closed...I tried to go there yesterday afternoon and door was locked, but posted hours indicated they should be open.......and no one answers phone. So best to call before going there.....BTW West Fortune Fish market is not far on Main St....great fish/seafood platters to go at very low price for extremely fresh.
