Love my neighborhood Starbs!
The employees made me feel I was a burden for walking into the store. The whole time they would glare at me. I promise i’m not funny looking, otherwise it would make sense. I’m not even from Florida. what kind of customer service is that?
Awesome service from a very friendly staff, great location, always clean.
Located In The Hotel I Work At Good Place
Great location friendly bit no food and it's by a gym..kind of weird not to only have small snaks
Employees were great. Nice and friendly.
Small, quiet, attached to Hampton Inns. All the handicapped sports were taken by enormous pickup truck with no stickers or disabled plates, super frustrating. Coffee was hot and strong just like my husband likes. I like the free water to drink in the car. Good coffee. Impossible parking.
Location does not accept rewards! This is the closest Starbucks to my office. I would really appreciate them using rewards.
Great place to spend a fin on a cup of coffee
Great staff, tasty drinks and even better coffee cakes. Great study spot too.
First, the staff was welcoming and efficient. My Americano (no extras) was perfectly made. They do charge over $4 for a Venti. My issue is that they use the Hilton Wi-Fi which is less than stellar. The signon page would not open on our Android phones. It works on WIndows but even at that, the signal was only two bars and slow.
This is not the first time this has happened, online it states this stores closes at 8pm. I walked in tonight with my boyfriend at 5:59 to get tea and the employees say "we are actually closing" I understand business may be slow but this is the second time this has happened. What's the point of having a convenient Starbucks downstairs from my apartment if they are closing by the time I'm getting off work. It didn't help that I was getting tea because I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to have to go to the store. This store has a lot of work to do because not only are they closing early, I wanted to try these bantam bagels everyone is raving about. Not knowing how many come in an order I asked for two orders and a coffee, I get charged about $12 and I only get two single bagels. My friend later tells me that I got ripped off because I should have gotten 4 total. Not impressed Starbucks, not impressed at all.
Worst customer service ever! At 5:00pm an employee came to us and said “we are closed, you have to leave” he didn’t even say please or thank you. I confronted him saying that that was a rude way to ask a customer to leave and he started making fun of me while saying “have a nice day, please leave”
Amazing place to sit and enjoy life while having an amazing beverage.
Friendly! Great for hotel guests and locals.
The egg white bites are an absolute must have. My friend Lauren, who has a 10/10 body, was the one who suggested them. Anytime I have a suggested food item from someone who is in good shape I have to try it. The combination of egg whites, peppers, and seasoning cooked to perfection created a party in my mouth. I washed it down with a caramel macchiato and break danced home.
I've been here twice, and each time my drink has been wrong, when it's marked correctly on the cup. Each time I seem to have someone at the register who also can't find buttons or has a hard time just ringing the order in for one drink. If you are looking for efficiency and accuracy, god forbid you are in a rush, I definitely wouldn't come here. The staff are super nice, they just need to actually do the job correctly and this place would be great. Might need to improve training. Also this store doesn’t accept rewards which is not ideal.

I was harassed by an apparently homeless man while waiting in line. He then had the nerve to ask me for money. After waiting in a long line, I left to avoid elevating the situation I guess that's a common problem with locations near locations where the homeless people find places to cool off. Otherwise, it's a nice and convenient location.
Nice Starbucks. It's new and clean. They wouldn't honor the free nitro coldbrew but hey take my money.
Nice clean atmosphere, they close at 8pm
Quick and great for professionals working in this area. Not a ton of inside seating for people collaborating, but if it's not hot (morning) there is quite a bit of outside seating on the Meridian side.
Went there on my birthday to redeem a free drink reward. I was told that the location doesn’t accept rewards. Barista was flirting with another co-worker and didn’t even acknowledge me while I was trying to place my order...They told me I could walk up Kennedy an extra mile to the next location that accepts rewards. Next time this happens I suggest just spoiling a coffee and creating an experience a customer would want to come back for. Won’t be coming back!
Not only got my order wrong once and had to pay for their mistake, but got home and realized they got my order wrong again. Bad management and bad service. Better off going to the drive through Starbucks on Kennedy.
Love it! Easy access, beautiful space, lots of light, clean restrooms, and super friendly staff. Just add mobile order and it’s perfect.
Yep, it's a Starbucks. Nice friendly staff, excellent service and expensive coffee and food. Brand new, nice and clean and easy to take a scooter to. Some outside seating is a available and they have a water bowl for dogs (I hope it's for dogs). I tried the new Nitro Cold brew and was good.
Delicious food! Friendly staff! Clean store!!
I'd like to express my discontent I felt harassed in this starbucks unwelcome and treated like a second class citizen. First I walked in and asked for a tall coffee the person behind the counter then said do course you would in a very condescending tone. Next I asked for a sleeve because the coffee was hot the told me to bad we don't have any. Then I went to pay and I didn't tip them they told me thanks fat ass. Will never be back.
Nice wraparound windows let in plenty of light. Friendly staff. Enough outlets for plugging in your laptop.
Supposed to be open until 8pm on Friday; I'm here at 7:30pm and they are closed.
I've been eagerly watching the construction and anticipating the opening of this new Starbucks Coffee Shop and the Hampton Inn High Rise Hotel which houses this Starbucks in the north side of Channelside in Downtown Tampa off Kennedy and Meridian next to Kennedy Grand Central, Slade, the Fitzgerald, Crunch, Maloneys, and the Hideaway Sushi bar. While Starbucks Coffee shop is a chain and there is a hipster coffee shop by the name of Ginger Beard Coffee next door inside the Pour House bar, it's always nice to have more options in the immediate area. Nothing says North Channelside has made it like the addition of a Starbucks and a Publix Supermarket that has been talked about for years. After all, who doesn't want to splurge with the new iced cocoa cloud machiato and a double smoked sausage, gouda, and egg sandwich topped with sriracha while listening to classy jazz music with a great view of Downtown? I enjoyed both here! There is ample comfy plush seating indoors to lounge out and study or surf the web or relax with free wifi. On my visit there were 6 patrons in the shop and no line. I was able to order without a wait and got my drink and sandwich in under 5 minutes which was quite ideal! My server was friendly and quick! I wanted to be the first to welcome this Starbucks to the North Channelside neighborhood! I look forward to many more splurges in the days to come!
